True Blood'True Blood''s season 2 premiere took a big bite out of TV audiences on Sunday.

The show earned an astounding 3.7 million viewers -- the most HBO has seen for a program since 'The Sopranos'' 2007 finale. Talk about some bloody good news.

Meanwhile, Showtime has given the OK to a third season of 'Tracey Ullman's State of the Union.' The half-hour comedy is expected to return in 2010.

TV News Daily: Showtime Renews 'Nurse Jackie'

Nurse JackieShowtime has already ordered a second season of 'Nurse Jackie' -- after just one episode.

The series premiere averaged a combined 1.35 million on Monday, making it the network's highest rated season debut ever.

Meanwhile, 'Mad Men' has clocked in an official premiere date. The hit Emmy-winning series will begin its third season Sun., Aug. 16, 10PM on AMC.
