Our Favorite TV Bosses

Michael Scott The OfficeDon't you wish your boss were more like the bosses on TV? You know, wise, kind, smart, respectful ... oh, actually, never mind. TV bosses may not always be the best managers around, but at least they're entertaining. In honor of Boss' Day, here are 13 bosses who liven up the TV workplace, for better or (very often) for worse.

In the premiere, Goldberg heads back to his hometown, Philadelphia, to assist with an intervention for a young heroin addict who refuses to go to rehab.

Greatest TV Dads

John GoodmanReal-life dads are sometimes preoccupied with their careers and distracted by life's many complications. Happily, on TV, all dads have plenty of quality time to share with their kids, while dispensing encouraging words and occasional tough love.

Maybe that's because TV dads never spend much time at work. (We're pretty sure everyone's fathers would sign up for that!) Step into the wonderful make-believe world where every day is Father's Day, and join us as we count down our 20 favorite TV dads. -- By Jefferson Reid

What to Watch Weekend May 2-3

Tough Love'Tough Love'
(Sun., 10PM, VH1) 1st season finale
We're still doubtful about how many love matches are going to result – or be long-lasting – from this latest reality love search series, but the show has definitely launched a new star in matchmaking host Steven Ward.

Love him or hate him – and plenty of the women at his boot camp did indeed take offense at his sometimes brutally honest feedback – we're predicting a future show that will revolve around Steve himself looking for his Mrs. Right.

In the mean time, tonight's season ender will find Steve sending the women off on overnight dates and giving them his final assessment on whether or not they've learned anything from his, yes, tough love.
