Rod Blagojevich to Join 'The Celebrity Apprentice'? Who Will Reality TV Claim Next?

Rod Blagojevich'The Celebrity Apprentice' has hired Rod Blagojevich, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

According to a source close to Blagojevich's team, the former Illinois governor -- who has been accused of trying to sell or trade Barack Obama's vacated U.S. Senate seat -- will make an appearance on the show's upcoming ninth season (premiering this spring), although no word yet on whether he will actually compete.

"NBC doesn't comment on casting until there's an official announcement to be made," an NBC spokesperson said.

'Celebrity Apprentice' Winner: Joan Rivers Beats Annie Duke

Celebrity ApprenticeNewly hired 'Celebrity Apprentice' Joan Rivers gave her bitter rival, 'Apprentice' runner-up Annie Duke, a quick hug after Donald Trump announced he was hiring Rivers and firing Duke in last night's season finale.

But the gesture was likely an empty one, considering that earlier in the padded three-hour finale, Duke proclaimed "This woman needs to die" about Rivers, while the comedienne questioned whether poker champ Duke had ties to the Mafia.

Still, the biggest question surrounding last night's season wrap-up: How did Rivers win, when she raised $150,830 for her charity -- God's Love We Deliver -- while Duke raised a much heftier $465,725 for Refugees International?

What to Watch Weekend May 2-3

Tough Love'Tough Love'
(Sun., 10PM, VH1) 1st season finale
We're still doubtful about how many love matches are going to result – or be long-lasting – from this latest reality love search series, but the show has definitely launched a new star in matchmaking host Steven Ward.

Love him or hate him – and plenty of the women at his boot camp did indeed take offense at his sometimes brutally honest feedback – we're predicting a future show that will revolve around Steve himself looking for his Mrs. Right.

In the mean time, tonight's season ender will find Steve sending the women off on overnight dates and giving them his final assessment on whether or not they've learned anything from his, yes, tough love.

What to Watch Weekend April 11-12

Rock of Love'Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels'
(Sun., 9PM, VH1) 3rd season finale
The bus stops here. After weeks of tooling around the country with his latest gathering of potential mates following him in tour buses, Poison front man Bret Michaels once again tries to find love in all the scantily clad places.

Penthouse Pet Taya and whatever-she-does Mindy are the last two women standing, and Bret takes the two on a triple date to the Dominican Republic before deciding which one he'll hook up with and – if those previews aren't fooling us – maybe give a ring to.

And speaking of weddings ... isn't the Dominican Republic home to the quickie divorce? As Randy Jackson would say, good lookin' out, Bret.

What to Watch Weekend Feb. 28-March 1

The Celebrity Apprentice'The Celebrity Apprentice'
(Sun., 9PM, NBC) 8th season premiere
It's certainly an eclectic group of celebs who've assembled for Donald Trump's latest season.

Headlining the list: Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa; foul-mouthed comedian Andrew Dice Clay; other Kardashian sister Khloe; Tom Green; R&B crooner Brian McKnight; country star Clint Black; former NBA star Dennis Rodman; and reality TV star/Mr. Sandra Bullock Jesse James among them.

The celebs, who are playing to win a hunk of cash for their favorite charities, will face challenges like making and selling cupcakes and creating their own comic book superheroes, but with a contestant pool this diverse, we have a feeling it's going to be all about the ego clashes this season.
