Worst TV Couples Ever (Looking at You, Sam and Diane)

Ugly BettyOn hearing from the Ausiello Files that 'Ugly Betty' creator Silvio Horta is steering his leads -- sweetly dorky Betty (America Ferrara) and her womanizing boss, Daniel (Eric Mabius) -- toward romance, our first reaction was "Nooooo!" Although that exact hookup takes place in the original telenovela, that's one romance we just can't -- or don't want to -- picture.

Which got us thinking, what other TV romances were so wrong on so many levels, they've brought down entire shows?

'CSI: Miami' Books Anthony Michael Hall

Anthony Michael HallAnthony Michael Hall will kill on an upcoming episode of 'CSI: Miami.' -- or at least that's what he'll be accused of.

According to PEOPLE, 'The Dead Zone' star will make another primetime mark guesting as a suave former ER doc who has been convicted of murder.

No further details have been revealed about Hall's guest spot, although we do know that he'll begin taping tomorrow for an air date sometime in 2010.

'CSI' Season 10 Episode 7: 'The Lost Girls' - Watch Part 3 of the Crossover Trilogy

Ray Langston's investigation into the disappearance of a young missing woman named Madeline Briggs drew to a close last night in the third installment of the 'CSI' crossover trilogy.

Langston followed Briggs' trail first to Florida in an episode featuring Horatio Caine and the 'CSI: Miami' crime lab team, then traveled to New York and learned more about what befell the missing woman after being assisted by the 'CSI: NY' crew and head investigator Mac Taylor. Langston finally ends up on his Las Vegas home turf in 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' where the investigation draws to a close.

Ray Langston from 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' and 'CSI: NY's' Mac Taylor team up in this second episode of the three-part 'CSI' crossover trilogy to track down the truck driver and missing woman before time runs out.

'Glee' Casting Draws Criticism

Let the 'Glee' backlash begin!

On tonight's episode -- dubbed 'Wheels' -- the wheelchair-bound character Artie (played by Kevin McHale) has trouble making it to regionals, presumably because of his disability. To help, Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison) orders the rest of the Gleeks to see things from Artie's pespective. This includes a performance of Tina Turner's 'Proud Mary,' in which the Gleeks all sing in wheelchairs.

The show now has people spinning their wheels -- but not, incidentally, over the content of tonight's episode. Instead, they're targeting the decision to cast McHale, who is not actually disabled. In a lengthy article featured in the Associated Press, advocacy groups such as the Media Access Office, as well as disabled actor Robert David Hall ('CSI'), spoke out about the show's missed opportunity to cast someone in a wheelchair.

'CSI' Crossover Trilogy Preview - What Will Happen on All Three Shows (VIDEO)

Beginning on Nov. 9, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Ray Langston will pack up his surgical gloves and swab kits and investigate a missing persons case that spans 'CSI: Miami,' 'CSI: NY' and 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.' This three-part crossover marks the first time a single character has appeared on all three shows from the CBS franchise in the same week as part of the same story.

The trilogy begins in the 'CSI: Miami' episode 'Bone Voyage,' in which Horatio Caine summons Langston to Miami after discovering a severed leg in the Everglades that belongs to a Las Vegas woman who'd gone missing a week earlier.

Jorja Fox Staying on 'CSI.' Will This Help the Ratings?

Jorja Fox on CSIThe latest puzzler for the 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation': How to stop a ratings slide that began with William Petersen's departure last season and has continued into a new season, during which the granddaddy of forensic procedural dramas has lost its crown as TV's top-rated scripted series to 'NCIS'? Answer? Stunts, starting with extending Jorja Fox's return to the show from temporary (five episodes) to indefinite.

'Criminal Minds' Spin-Off: More Franchises, CBS ... Seriously?

Criminal MindsThe Eye Network is becoming the Double Vision Network.

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that CBS is planning yet another spin-off drama series, this time from 'Criminal Minds.'

The move comes after spin-off 'NCIS: Los Angeles' debuted to big ratings last week. (And if you remember, the blockbuster hit 'NCIS' itself is actually a spin-off of 'JAG.') And just as in the 'NCIS' case, the 'Criminal Minds' spin-off would feature a brand-new team of agents and air as an episode of the original series.

Jorja Fox Interview on Returning to 'CSI'

Jorja FoxIt's been two years since Jorja Fox left the grimy Las Vegas crime scenes of 'CSI' for sun, surf and soul searching. But now she's set to return as Sara Sidle for a much anticipated five-episode arc on the series' 10th season (premiering Sept. 24 on CBS). There's wild speculation around the circumstances of her visit -- Is another CSI in danger? Are Sara and Grissom still together? -- and AOL TV grilled her mercilessly for the juicy details.

In our exclusive interview, Fox, phoning from a hammock on the shores of Santa Monica, was thrilled to dish -- about, among other things, if she'll ever return to 'CSI' full time, her reaction to some of George Eads' less flattering comments and her outrageous guest spot on 'Drop Dead Diva' as a (gasp!) housewife. -- By Sandy Deane
