Patrick DempseyMcDreamy may be quitting Seattle Grace, 'Melrose Place' gets a reboot and more ...

Who cares about George and Izzie when Derek may be the next doc to go on 'Grey's Anatomy'? That's right, Patrick Dempsey fans: An official plot description for an upcoming episode reveals that McDreamy himself is quitting Seattle Grace. But does that mean he's leaving the show?

In other news, the CW has officially greenlit a reboot of '90s primetime soap 'Melrose Place' (finally!); this year's Oscar ratings are all Jackman-ed up; and 'Fringe' is relocating to Canada.

See more of today's TV headlines, casting scoops and premiere dates after the jump.

What to Watch Friday, Jan. 9

monk and psych'Monk' and 'Psych'
(9PM & 10PM, USA)
USA's Friday night characters are back in action, and for Monk, that means a family reunion.

His half-brother, Jack. Jr., is on the lam after he escapes from prison, and Jack makes his way to casa de Monk for help. Someone's framed him, he claims, and he wants his OCD bro to help him crack the case.

Meanwhile, 'Psych' buds Shawn and Gus are on the hot on the trail of a murderer ... a murderer whose victim is Shabby the Sea Lion. And their lead suspect: A TV animal show host played by the patron saint of Jumping the Shark, Ted McGinley. Be careful, 'Psych' dudes; he's killed before.

jennifer aniston'Jennifer Aniston: An E! Entertainment Special'
(8PM, E!)
That GQ magazine cover would seem to prove that there's little yet to be revealed about the 'Friends' and 'Marley & Me' star.

But the E! folk claim otherwise, as this special delves into her early career, her 'Friends' days and her more recent comedy works, including her well-received guest gig on '30 Rock' this season.

And, of course, no Aniston bio would be complete without a peek into her personal life, which includes interviews with celeb pals Marlo Thomas and Kathy Najimy, and dish on the Brangelina brouhaha, her tempestuous relationship with her mom and her recent on-again, off-again romance with playboy rock star John Mayer.

What to Watch Friday, Oct. 17

Crash'Crash'
(10PM, Starz) series premiere
'Crash' opens with Dennis Hopper berating his penis, and from there gets a little less weird, though more intense.

The drama, based on the surprise Best Picture Oscar winner, doesn't rely on the racial themes that drove the 2004 movie, but, like the flick, does show how a disparate group of Los Angeles residents meet and mingle.

Hopper's aging record producer Ben, who seems to be based on Phil Spector, is the most over-the-top character in the bunch, which also includes corrupt cops, a gang member-turned-paramedic, marrieds warring over the wife's father and a musician who gets more than he bargained for when he becomes Ben's driver.
