That magical box we stare at for entirely too long has the ability to mesmerize and terrify us, even if we don't believe it has that power. Admit it, we've all gone to bed at some point in our lives after watching something scary on TV, and we've pulled the covers up over our heads. It's not real, yet it has the power to make us afraid. Very afraid.
