The Costume: Paula Abdul

What You'll Need: Being former 'American Idol' judge Paula Abdul (not unlike 'Being Bobby Brown') is all about the attitude: Randomly jump around and start dancing, while throwing your hands in the air and making the "I love you" horns ... randomly start spouting nonsensical phrases like "Simon always refers to a fortune cookie and says the moth who finds the melon finds the corn flake always finds the melon and one of you didn't pick the right fortune" ... randomly start slurring your speech and nodding off, like you're "tired" while giving a TV interview ... you get the idea. Act craz ... uh, enthusiastic and spirited.

Halloween's almost here, so we're giving tips on how to dress like your favorite TV characters.

The Costume: 'American Idol' season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert; for couples, Lambert and 'Idol' winner Kris Allen

What You'll Need: The Lambert look really comes down to three things: the hair, the makeup and the leather. For the hair, you could style your own in that Lambert spiky 'do (see tips here), or you could buy a Lambert wig (go to eBay and type in "Adam Lambert wig"). For the makeup, the 'AI' runner-up is all about the black fingernail polish and eyeliner. And for the outfit, think black, tight and leather: leather jacket, leather pants, black T-shirt (v-neck and low-cut, preferably), black boots (platform or snakeskin is a plus), a wallet chain and various skull rings and heavy necklaces.
