Kristin Chenoweth on Her Emmy Nomination, 'Glee' and 'Wicked' Movie Rumors

She's a triple threat, with roles on the big screen ('Four Christmases'), television ('The West Wing') and Broadway ('Wicked,' 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' -- for which she won a Tony award in 1999).

Now, Kristin Chenoweth is a two-time Emmy nominee, honored for her role of Olive Snook on the critically acclaimed -- but recently canceled -- series 'Pushing Daisies.' Where's Ned's magical touch when you need it?

But fans of the pint-sized beauty needn't worry: She's already booked many TV projects, including a Christmas telepic for Lifetime movie, a part on Fox's much-anticipated musical series 'Glee' and a just-confirmed guest spot on 'American Idol.'

Kristin recently chatted with AOL TV about her Emmy nomination, 'Pushing Daisies', 'Glee' ... and that elusive 'Wicked' movie. -- By Andy Scott.

TV News Daily: Hargitay and Meloni to Be Replaced on 'SVU'?

Law & Order: SVU'Law & Order: SVU' may be in search of two new stars.

NBC is threatening to replace Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni on its No. 1 scripted series because the two leads are demanding back-end profits in addition to their $350K-per-episode salaries. Are the stars or the network the victims here? Debate.

In other news, 'Fringe' is beaming up 'Star Trek' vet Leonard Nimoy for a pivotal arc that will span this season and next, and the final episodes of 'Pushing Daisies' and some other canceled ABC faves will (finally!) hit the boob tube.

See more of today's TV headlines, casting scoops and premiere dates after the jump.

What to Watch Wednesday, Nov. 3

christmas in rockefeller center'Christmas in Rockefeller Center'
(8PM, NBC)
Al Roker hosts and Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr., Beyonce, the Jonas Brothers, David Cook and Rascal Flatts perform, but the real star of this celebration is the 72-foot-tall Norway spruce that will stand in Rockefeller Center.

Tonight, Roker and the other celebs help flip the switch on the tree's thousands of multicolored lights, an event that officially marks the beginning of the holiday season in New York City.

In fact, this year's tree is such a symbol of the holidays that it's getting its own star: a 550-pound Swarovski crystal ornament that will serve as the tree's topper.

Stylista'Stylista'
(9PM, The CW) series premiere
Dream job or nightmare? Maybe a little of both in this reality series, in which 11 aspiring magazine editors compete to win a junior editor position with Elle magazine, a New York City apartment and a one-year clothing allowance from H&M.

The wanna-bes -- including Kate, a law student who becomes the group punching bag, and Megan, a bee-otchy rich chick who, trust us, you're gonna hate -- have to perform elimination challenges each week, beginning with tonight's opener, in which they must fetch a fetching breakfast for Elle editor Anne Slowey.

Doesn't sound so tough? Let's just say Ms. Slowey isn't exactly a Cap'n Crunch kinda woman.

'Pushing Daisies'
(8PM, ABC) 2nd season premiere
What's a stressed-out girl to do when she's already got a head full of secrets and then learns yet another bit of juicy scoop that could prove life changing for those around her? Get thee to a nunnery!

That's the solution for Olive, who goes off to hang with some nuns when the burden of Ned and Chuck's (and now Aunt Lily's) secrets get to be too much.

Meanwhile, back at The Pie Hole, Ned's freaking out about Chuck's need to be independent, Emerson's indulging his love of pop-up books and Chuck goes undercover at a honey-based cosmetics company to find out who killed Betty's Bees' head Bee Girl. Hey, they don't call the show quirky for nothing.

Hot Video: 'Pushing Daisies' Starter Kit

Craving some TV sweetness? Never fear, the Pie Hole is back in business.

Last year's darling new dramedy, 'Pushing Daisies,' returns for a second season next Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 8PM ET. But if you can't remember what happened before the writers' strike cut short our lovely flower of a show, check out ABC's starter kit to refresh your memory.

Get a snapshot of all the quirky characters, an overview of the big plot points and where Ned and Chuck's ill-fated romance left off.

Kristin Chenoweth Interview for 'Pushing Daisies'

"When they called my name [for the Emmy nominations], I was just blown away."

Kristin Chenoweth is living proof of the old adage good things come in small packages.

The petite star sings, dances and acts, and her current role as Olive on ABC's 'Pushing Daisies' (season 2 premieres Wed., Oct. 1, 8 PM EST) has even scored her an Emmy nom.

Chenoweth talked to AOL TV about what's in store on her critically acclaimed show, her Presidential voting secret and what she'll be wearing (and who she might be with) come Emmy night.

Lee Pace Interview for 'Pushing Daisies'

Lee Pace"You can't bellyache about the fact that one Emmy nomination [is missing] when you get 12."

Playing a pie maker on 'Pushing Daisies' has an obvious perk: fresh, delicious treats on set every day. On the other hand, star Lee Pace laughed, "It gets old, the pie."

What's not old, though, is his first Emmy nomination for Best Comedy Actor.

Pace revealed to AOL TV how he found out about the honor, which co-star is motivated by food and what surprises are in store for the second season.

18 Things We Learned at Comic-Con

The buzz on 'Heroes' season 3, Jack Bauer's bathroom breaks and more.

There's no better place to preview TV shows and give back to fans than Comic-Con, and this year, networks embraced the opportunity like never before.

After all the star sightings, exclusive footage, and hard-to-get swag -- we covet the Sci-Fi Channel's purple tote, labeled "BIG FRAKKIN' BAG" -- our heads are so full of great stuff, they just might explode.

And wouldn't that be appropriate for Comic-Con? (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)
