'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Private Practice' to Crossover (Again)

Private Practice'Grey's Anatomy' and its spin-off, 'Private Practice,' are at it again with their crossover episodes.

The Ausiello Files is reporting that Walsh will come back to 'Grey's' in early January for a top-secret plot centered around Addison, Mark and Leven Rambin, who recently joined the cast from 'Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles.'

Apparently, Addison returns to Seattle at Mark's request to perform surgery on Leven's character. But, as executive producer Shondra Rhimes spoils, the plot will extend back over into 'Private,' when a complication has Mark transfer the patient back down to L.A. again (so much for the plot being "top secret").

Breaking TCA News: Chandra Wilson Checks Into 'Private Practice'

Chandra WilsonI wasn't expecting to get much serious breaking news from today's set visit to ABC's 'Private Practice' -- boss Shonda Rhimes tends to keep show secrets just that.

Maybe something was in the air. Maybe the sight of a bus full of (already exhausted) TCA members trekking across town to come play warmed her heart. Whatever it was, Rhimes decided to dish a little 'Private Practice' season 3 scoop: Chandra Wilson (a.k.a. 'Grey's Anatomy''s own Miranda Bailey) will be visiting Oceanside Wellness in the season's third episode.

Survivor Tocantins'Survivor: Tocantins'
(8PM, CBS) 18th season premiere
Well, there's certainly no time wasted in this season premiere.

Season 18's 16 castaways are shipped off to the harsh interior Brazilian state of Tocantins, where they've already been divided into two teams. And before the contestants have a chance to form any alliances – or even get to know each others' names, for that matter – each team is forced to oust one player.

And that's a mere taste of the drama to come, from a contestant pool that includes a college soccer coach, a member of the R&B girl group SWV, a former Miss Ohio and, at age 19, Spencer Duhm, the youngest 'Survivor' contestant ever.

whitney port'Whitney: From The Hills to The City'
(10PM, MTV)
You know Whitney ... she's 'The Hills' cast member who hasn't fought with her castmates, been accused of sleeping with a friend's dude or foolishly turned down a summer job in Paris to stay with her doofus boyfriend.

In short, Whitney's the calm in a storm of dramarama, which is why the friend-of-Lauren has been a fan favorite, and now the star of her own spin-off series, 'The City.'

This 90-minute special tracks Whit from her internship with L.C. at Teen Vogue to her gig at People's Revolution in Los Angeles, and previews her new life (and Dec. 29 'City' premiere) in New York, where she'll be working for legendary designer Diane von Fürstenberg.

'Pushing Daisies'
(8PM, ABC) 2nd season premiere
What's a stressed-out girl to do when she's already got a head full of secrets and then learns yet another bit of juicy scoop that could prove life changing for those around her? Get thee to a nunnery!

That's the solution for Olive, who goes off to hang with some nuns when the burden of Ned and Chuck's (and now Aunt Lily's) secrets get to be too much.

Meanwhile, back at The Pie Hole, Ned's freaking out about Chuck's need to be independent, Emerson's indulging his love of pop-up books and Chuck goes undercover at a honey-based cosmetics company to find out who killed Betty's Bees' head Bee Girl. Hey, they don't call the show quirky for nothing.
