Al Gore Goes Green on '30 Rock' (VIDEO)

In honor of NBC's Green Week, '30 Rock' featured, among other things, carbon footprint reduction, a guest appearance by former Vice President Al Gore, and ... urine in jars.

In this clip, Gore shows just exactly how green his thumb is, as he follows his own environmentally-friendly advice by recycling a whale joke he used in the season 2 episode 'Greenzo.'

EXCLUSIVE: James Franco Talks 'General Hospital' and '30 Rock' (VIDEO)

James Franco General HospitalThe wait is finally over.

Today, James Franco will begin his multi-episode arc on 'General Hospital,' playing the appropriately titled character Franco, a mysterious artist-assassin out to wreak havoc on Port Charles.

In preparation for the big day, AOL TV snagged an exclusive interview with Franco, in which he talks more about his character name, his steamy on-screen hookup and how his upcoming '30 Rock' guest spot came about.

Watch the video after the jump, then check back a bit later for our full coverage on his first episode.

Minnie Driver to Guest on 'Modern Family'

Minnie Driver Modern FamilyKeep those guest spots coming: Minnie Driver is set to appear on ABC's 'Modern Family' this January, Entertainment Weekly confirms. The Oscar nominee will play a former co-worker of Claire (Julie Bowen), who comes back into their lives, presumably to wreak a bit of havoc.

Driver's acting career has slowed down a bit in recent years. Most recently, she co-starred in the FX drama 'The Riches,' for which she earned an Emmy nomination in 2007. Fans of 'Will & Grace' will also remember Driver as Lorraine Finster, the cafeteria worker who had an affair with Stan.

In 2008, Driver gave birth to her first son, Henry Story Driver.

Padma Lakshmi Guests as Herself on '30 Rock' (VIDEO)

On last night's '30 Rock,' Liz, urged on by Jenna and Tracy, decides to shop around for the best deal possible for a talk show based on 'Dealbreakers' and Padma Lakshmi guest stars as a potential host.

Jack is understandably miffed when Liz threatens to take the show elsewhere rather than have him develop it, so he considers replacing her as host with 'Top Chef's' Lakshmi.

Best '30 Rock' Guest Stars: Oh, They Went to There

Blurg! Does '30 Rock' ever love having guest stars!

With almost 100 guest appearances so far and only in its fourth season, the series has gained a well-deserved reputation for snagging all kinds of A-listers
. Ranging from silly to meta to awesome, we've compiled a list of our favorite star turns on '30 Rock' that's sure to blow your mind grapes.

Julianne Moore Spotted on '30 Rock' Set: Can She Pull Off Comedy?

Julianne Moore 30 RockYesterday, Julianne Moore was reportedly seen in New York's Rockefeller Center, aka the filming location for NBC's Emmy-winning comedy '30 Rock.' Sources at E! are now predicting that Moore will be Jack Donaghy's (Alec Baldwin) new love interest this season.

Reps for NBC and Moore have yet to release an official statement. But in a recent interview, Baldwin himself said "I won't say who it is, but someone very near to us may be coming on to play my girlfriend for four episodes."

Onlookers at yesterday's filming didn't find any evidence to either confirm or deny the rumor, only catching things in between takes. But one snoop said that the two looked "very chummy," and seemed to be the only ones on location.

James Franco to Guest on '30 Rock': Which Show Should He Book Next?

James Franco is quickly taking over the small screen.

We've already seen him this season as a surprise guest on 'Saturday Night Live.' He also has an upcoming arc on 'General Hospital,' which we're, um, still trying to wrap our heads around.

Now, he's set to follow that with a guest appearance on '30 Rock.' According to the Ausiello Files, Franco will play a version of himself who winds up in a fake relationship with Jenna (Jane Krakowski), all orchestrated by their agents.

With so many different TV roles in the works, we're beginning to wonder if there's anything James Franco can't do. At a turn, he can go from dramatic ('Milk'; TV's 'James Dean'), to hilarious ('Pineapple Express') to ... soap operas (yep, still confused). Clearly, there are no limits to his talents -- which is why we're itching to see more of him on TV. So to help, we came up with a list of shows that James Franco should appear on next.

Blurg! '30 Rock' Scores Zero Rating in German Debut

The German word is null. That's right, meine kinder, '30 Rock' -- a critically acclaimed series here in the U.S., what with 38 Emmy nominations and three wins for Outstanding Comedy Series -- earned a big fat zero in the ratings last weekend when the show made its debut on German TV.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the astonishingly low 0.0 rating translates into fewer than 5,000 viewers. It suggests that while Tina Fey's quick-witted humor is a notch above the American average, '30 Rock' may be far too much of a typically American comedy-satire to win over the notoriously hardline German funny bone.

Jeff Dunham and Puppet Face Off with Jack on '30 Rock' (VIDEO)

Kudos to '30 Rock's' Jack Donaghy for accomplishing what most of us have only dreamed of -- throttling one of comedian Jeff Dunham's puppets.

In this clip, Jack comes to Liz's aid at a comedy club after a ventriloquist dummy lays into her with insults. See if you can spot Dunham's lips moving during the attack.
