One of the perks of writing about TV (of which there are many, by the way) is receiving promotional swag from the networks. For instance, one of the best swag items I've fielded was the 'Battlestar Galactica' complete series on Blu-ray (thank you, SyFy). But this week I received 'Monk' memorabilia that left me scratching my head.

Clearly not satisfied with using the rotten eggs and shaving cream of Halloweens past, Rainn Wilson offers up new tricks and pranks for mischief night on 'The Jay Leno Show.' He torments the people in his neighborhood with bologna wallpaper and a field of forks until he's chased off by an irate Weird Al Yankovic.

Jay Leno's ratings may be in question, but Martha Stewart's ability to keep a younger man clearly isn't. Stewart admits on 'The Jay Leno Show' she once dated a man significantly younger than herself. In fact, she describes her toy boy as being only a month older than her daughter at the time. Treasure it.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck returned to 'The View' yesterday with quite the cautionary tale in postpartum file sharing. Hasslebeck told viewers that she fired off digital photos of her newborn, Isaia, to her extended family and friends before realizing that her nipple was exposed in the pic.

We know the co-host likes to overshare at times, but you've got to feel for her father- and brother-in-law. It's probably not the kind of family photo they were looking to save to their desktops.

'Three's Company' actress Suzanne Somers talks with Ann Curry about being misdiagnosed with full-body cancer and about her new book, 'Knockout,' which documents her search for alternative medicine. In the 'Today' interview, Curry presses Somers about the questionable practices of the medical professionals featured in her book.
