5 Questions With: Cheech & Chong

"Our live act is sort of a precursor to the movie. We work live until we get sick of going on the road. Then we say, 'Well, let's just stay home and do a movie.'"

In the '70s and '80s, Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong mined the counterculture for their stoner comedy. But after a string of popular albums and movies, the two had a falling out and went their separate ways in the mid '80s.

Cheech shed his hippie image and found work as an actor, most recently lending his voice to 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' and landing a guest spot on 'Lost.' Meanwhile Chong capitalized on his pothead persona with a recurring role on 'That '70s Show.' Unfortunately his stoner image didn't serve him as well when he was busted for distributing drug paraphernalia in 2003, which led to a nine-month stint in federal prison.

After a two-decade hiatus, the pair reunited and returned to their live comedy roots, with the Cheech & Chong Light Up America tour. In addition, the legendary comedy duo will be roasted for a TBS special (airing Sunday, Nov. 30 at 10PM). AOL TV chatted with the comedy legends about their future plans, pot legalization and why they think their type of comedy is making a comeback.

5 Questions With: Florence Henderson

Florence Henderson"I adore Chris, and I wish him and Adrianne all the happiness in the world. I hope, you know, they're married forever."

To many people, Florence Henderson will forever be Mrs. Carol Brady. But the 74-year-old actress (yup, we said 74) has played many different roles during her half century in showbiz.

In addition to portraying one of the most iconic TV moms of all time, she's been a Broadway diva, talk show hostess and, more recently, a reality queen. Her no-nonsense stint on the sixth season of 'The Surreal Life' as the housemates' counselor (she has a degree in hypnotherapy in real life) won her a younger generation of fans. But sometimes her honesty gets her into trouble: On 'My Fair Brady,' she caused a rift with her 'Brady' son and friend Christopher Knight when she said he shouldn't marry model Adrianne Curry. (They did anyway.)

At an age when most people would opt to retire, Florence Henderson refuses to even slow down. Her latest project is 'Ladies of the House,' a heartwarming Hallmark movie about three women of a certain age who decide to rebuild a run-down home as well as their own lives. AOL TV chatted with the TV legend about her plans for the future, whether she and Knight are on speaking terms and the reality competition she's dying to go on.

Rocco DiSpirito Sounds Off on 'Dancing' Exit

Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff"I told myself that if I [got kicked] out this week, I still had a great time."

Sometimes second chances aren't enough. Last week, Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff were told that they would have been kicked off 'Dancing With the Stars' if it weren't for Misty-May Treanor's premature exit due to injury. Although the pair tried valiantly to impress the judges and the audience this week, they just couldn't rally the support they needed to stay on.

Neither competitor was surprised. When asked if they were offended by Bruno Tonioli's comment that Rocco didn't have a musical bone in his body, Karina said, "I think Bruno was giving us a heads up that our time was coming to an end."

While Rocco was disappointed to be voted off, he doesn't plan on hanging up his dancing shoes. "Maybe Karina will take pity on me and visit me in New York and teach me another dance," he said, to which his partner replied enthusiastically, "I live in New York!"

Although Cody Linley said, "It's tough to see Rocco go home. It was nice getting to know him," many of the contestants were already looking ahead to next week. Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer are particularly excited about their next dance: She will be teaching him the West Coast Swing, which is her hoofer father's specialty. "I'm the only one on the show who knows how to do it," she said. "It's the first time that dance will be on the show. It used to be the California state dance."

Misty May-Treanor Tells All About Her 'Dancing' Exit

Misty May-Treanor"This is just one of those things that you have to be patient with ... you can't try to move too fast, but I feel I'm going to be OK."

By now, pretty much everyone has heard the news: Misty May-Treanor, who had been one of season 7's front runners, had to stop 'Dancing' prematurely due to injury. The Gold volleyball medalist tried to be upbeat as she hobbled on stage on crutches, her left foot shrouded in bandages. During rehearsal, Misty had stepped back and felt a pop. The doctor diagnosed it as a ruptured Achilles tendon.

"Ballroom dancing is a sport," Misty explained backstage after appearing on Monday night's show. "It's rigorous activity. This could have happened anywhere."

Even though she won't be able to dance for at least six months, the champion athlete hopes to return to 'Dancing' another season with her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. "Maks is devastated because he knows how much hard work we put into this," she said. "He knew the dancer that I could become. I want to thank all the people who voted for us. Don't count me out. I want to come back. And I will be back."

Misty's sudden departure meant that no one was kicked off this week. However, Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff were informed that they had the fewest votes. That means they'll have to hustle if they want to avoid elimination next week. Although Rocco was grateful for the second chance, he said he's "counting on our fans to mobilize."

Rocco's fellow competitors are glad he's sticking around. "I think this will get Rocco to work harder next week," said Maurice Greene, while Lacey Schwimmer insisted that "Rocco and Karina will kick butt next week. You're going to see fire in their eyes."

Kim Kardashian Sounds Off on 'Dancing' Exit

Kim Kardashian"This was a huge accomplishment. I'm not a dancer ... I didn't think I had it in me."

Last night, it was down to Cloris Leachman and Kim Kardashian. And while the reality vixen hadn't impressed with her moves, everyone seemed shocked when the curvaceous cutie got the boot over Cloris, even the Oscar winner herself.

"We were scared to death," she admitted, and her partner Corky Ballas added, "We thought we were toast!"

While 'Dancing' fans weren't exactly mourning Kim's loss, her fellow competitors were sad to see her and Mark Ballas go.

"They're both so good and so nice," said Susan Lucci. "I'll miss them both. Kim has been so lovely. I applaud the fact that she got out of her comfort zone."

"I hate that Kim's leaving," said Cheryl Burke. "We've become really good friends. I hope we stay in touch. I wish she would have stayed in longer. I think she would have improved."

Read on for more of AOL TV's backstage chat with Kim and the rest of the 'Dancing With the Stars' cast.

Ted McGinley Sounds Off on 'Dancing' Exit

Ted McGinley and Inna Brayer"It's not about the result. It's about the doing. The 'doing' is the win."

Ted McGinley was visibly sad to be the second star sent home. Considering his status as the patron saint of Jump the Shark, that's understandable. He's used to staying with shows until the very end.

Lack of a large fan base unquestionably contributed to his early exit. But he had a lot of fans among his competitors. "I loved watching him on 'Married With ... Children,' Lance Bass enthused. Meanwhile his partner Lacey Schwimmer revealed a personal connection. "Ted went to high school with my mom! They just saw each other in the hallway."

Alec Mazo and Toni Braxton were convinced McGinley would have stuck around if he'd done his second dance first. "I thought he was much better [the second night], said Mazo. "I agree. If he'd done that first..." said Braxton before her partner finished her thought, "He would have had a shot at it."

While he may not be as big as Bass or Braxton, McGinley certainly has very vocal fans who were outraged at his ousting.

Jeffrey Ross Sounds Off on 'Dancing' Exit

Jeffrey Ross"For me, it was never about the competition part. I'm taking away a lot of great memories."

Comedian Jeffrey Ross wasn't laughing when he was booted off 'Dancing With the Stars' last night.

After suffering for entertainment -- his partner, Edyta Sliwinska , accidentally scratched his eye during rehearsal -- Ross was clearly disappointed to be going home. "I have a slit cornea," Ross revealed. "I was advised not to dance, but I couldn't sit still while everyone had fun for two hours."

His fellow competitors were disappointed too. Pro dancer Mark Ballas said, "I'll miss Jeff. We had a poker night and he came by and played," while Misty May-Treanor lamented that, "He tried so hard."

Many fans were also sad, and wished the funnyman could stick around a little longer.

AOL TV chatted with Ross, as well as other 'Dancing With the Stars' participants, about the competition, the costumes, even Clay Aiken coming out of the closet. As Lance Bass said, "It'll be bring him closer to family and friends." He should know.
