'Project Runway' Results: Christopher Straub Elimination Interview

It hasn't been a good season for the men of 'Project Runway,' with last night's final challenge episode ending with an all-female final four, meaning no fellas will be showing their collections at New York Fashion Week in the season finale.

The last man standing for season six: Minnesota native Christopher Straub, the 30-year-old self-taught designer who won the season's first challenge -- featuring guest judge Lindsay Lohan -- and, as he himself points out, then spent many weeks in the bottom three.

But that was okay by him -- better bottom three than being "safe," as Straub points out, because simply being "in" means being sent backstage and not getting the chance to talk about your design.

Straub, who was voted the fan favorite designer at MyLifetime.com during each of his 12 weeks on the show, talked to AOL TV the morning after his elimination from the competition, and dished about challenging the judges, being committed to not playing it safe, his new accessories line, the possibility of 'The Christopher Show' and how he never meant to become 'The Cryer' of the season.

'Project Runway' Results: Gordana Gehlhausen Elimination Interview

In last night's double elimination episode of 'Project Runway,' the last male finalist, Christopher Straub, was sent packing, as was the fourth place finisher, self-taught designer and boutique owner (and Yugoslavian native) Gordana Gehlhausen.

Gehlhausen, who owns two clothing boutiques, in South Carolina and San Diego, won one challenge during the season, spent a few weeks in the bottom three and several more in the top three or getting the trademark Heidi Klum "You're in" pass, but says she knew fairly early on in the season that the judges wouldn't be sending her to show in New York Fashion Week.

The day after her elimination from 'Project Runway's sixth season, Gehlhausen talked to AOL TV about the pretty dress she created in the finale, the weirdness of this season's judging efforts, her goals to inspire younger creative types and how she thinks 'Project Runway' could learn a thing or two from 'So You Think You Can Dance.'

'The Shield' Creator Shawn Ryan on the DVD Box Set and Alternate Endings

Ah, 'The Shield.' Few other shows -- maybe 'The Wire' or 'The Sopranos' -- can make a TV fan as wistful as a mere mention of FX's 2002-08 cop drama, the show that solidified FX as a cable network that could hang with the likes of HBO, turned Michael Chiklis from 'The Commish' into one of the toughest and, yes, sexiest men in primetime, and ended its seven-season run with one of the most satisfying series finales in TV history.

The show, created by one-time 'Nash Bridges' writer and 'Angel' producer Shawn Ryan, has just been released on DVD with 'The Shield: Complete Series' (Sony Home Entertainment), a lavish book-type package that features all seven seasons on 28 discs, with cast and crew commentary on each episode, a new featurette on the real-life Los Angeles police scandal that inspired the series and a new behind-the-scenes featurette/set tour of the show's police offices, "The Barn."

Ryan, whose real-life wife Cathy Cahlin Ryan played Corrine, the wife of Chiklis' Vic Mackey, on the show, is now busily helming the Fox drama 'Lie to Me' and the upcoming FX comedy 'Terriers,' but took time out to talk to AOL about 'The Shield,' an unexpected fan encounter and how he's lost some serious space on his DVD shelf this year.

Larry David Angers Catholic League With Latest 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

Does 'Seinfeld' creator and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Larry David like to poke fun at Christians, or is he just an equal opportunity offender?

The Catholic League says it's the former, taking issue with the Oct. 25 'Curb' episode in which the TV version of Larry was taking a medication that led him to have an extremely, um, forceful urination experience. As a result, while using the bathroom of a woman who had a painting of Jesus hanging beside her toilet, Larry's splashings hit the wall -- and the painting -- leading the woman to think her Jesus painting was crying and that she was experiencing a miracle.

HBO described the episode as "playful," while Fox News reports that Catholic League president Bill Donohue was less than amused by the plot.

Attention, Team Kate: TLC to Air Kate Gosselin Special

We know what you're thinking: What else is there possibly to know about the world's most famous (infamous?) single mom, Kate Gosselin? TLC, the network that made celebs out of Gosselin and her Ed Hardy-lovin' estranged husband Jon, apparently thinks the Flock of Seagulls-haired mama of eight has plenty more to dish, and will air a one-hour 'Kate: Her Story' special on Nov. 2 (9PM ET).

The special unfolds as an interview with Kate, conducted by 'Today' correspondent Natalie Morales. The sitdown is being filmed today, so no specific info on the content is available yet, but presumably the chat will revolve around the tension-filled Gosselin marriage that was a major part of the couple's TLC reality series 'Jon & Kate Plus 8,' as well as the subsequent break-up and now ugly, mudslinging divorce.

Best '50s TV Shows

I Love LucyThe 1950s were, quite simply, the Golden Age of Television. Everything from the biggest rock stars in the world to the top acting and writing talent in Hollywood were represented on the tube, alongside Shakespearean dramas, Broadway shows and operas.

TV schedules in the '50s were also packed with family comedies ('Leave It to Beaver' and 'The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet'), Westerns ('Gunsmoke' and 'The Lone Ranger'), some of the all-time greatest comedians (Groucho on 'You Bet Your Life,' Gleason on 'The Jackie Gleason Show') and, despite the more traditional times, some of the most independent ladies in TV land ('Our Miss Brooks' and, of course, 'I Love Lucy'). In short, though TV was still in its early days in the 1950s, there was plenty to watch, and love, in prime time. -- By Kimberly Potts

TV Land Gets Into the Sitcom Game With Two New Pilots

TV Land, the home of classic sitcoms like 'The Cosby Show,' 'Roseanne,' and, beginning next summer, 'Everybody Loves Raymond,' has decided to try to create some future classics of its own: The network has ordered pilots for two new sitcom series, including one from the production company headed by 'Will & Grace' star Sean Hayes.

Hayes' Hazy Mills company is producing 'Hot in Cleveland,' penned by 'Frasier' writer Suzanne Martin and revolving around three fortysomething female friends from Los Angeles who "get stuck" in Cleveland, but decide to relocate there permanently when they discover that the town's citizens consider them to be glamorous. (Cleveland-ers have never seen celebrities, presumably? Even though the Rock Hall of Fame is located there? But we digress.)
