'How I Met Your Mother' Season 5 Episode 9 'Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap' Recap

How I Met Your Mother - Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap What happened on this week's 'How I Met Your Mother' episode, 'Slapsgiving 2: Revenge of the Slap' -- in 100 words or less.

As thanks for recovering his beloved turkey for Thanksgiving, Marshall gives unto Ted and Robin his fourth of five SlapBet slaps, to be used that day.

Chris Elliot plays Lily's father, who spends more time making ill-conceived board games than he ever did being a father. But after declaring him dead to her, she ultimately learns that forgiveness is the better route.

No one can agree on who should slap Barney, until Marshall declares that to honor the holiday, there will be no slap. He releases Barney from the slap throne ... and then slaps the heck out of him!

'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Season 5 Episode 10 'The D.E.N.N.I.S. System' Recap

It's Always Sunny in PhiladelphiaWhat happened on this week's 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Episode' episode, 'The D.E.N.N.I.S. System' -- in 100 words or less.

When Dennis unveils his foolproof system for cracking and sacking women, he discovers that Mac and Frank have their own less-sophisticated systems for picking up his scraps.

Charlie takes what he learned and immediately goes over to the waitresses to break her sink, so that he can fix it and win her over. Dee becomes paranoid that her boyfriend is using the system on her, so she begins to sabotage her relationship.

The gang gets together to fix it all at a carnival, but Frank accuses Dennis of giving the girl AIDS and Dee gets stabbed, proving ... that they're all losers.

'Biggest Loser' Results: Rebecca Meyer Elimination Interview

Rebecca MayerLast night's 90-minute episode saw the journey end for 25-year-old Rebecca Meyer.

She'd proven herself a tough competitor in weeks prior, so at the first sign of weakness we suspect that Rudy cut her out of the competition. Rudy wasn't alone in doing so, but his explanation that he was eliminating her because he felt he couldn't trust her left us a bit puzzled.

He said that it stemmed back to when they were separated into two teams (Rebecca was apparently chatting it up with the enemy). We suspect that her ouster was more game play than a sense of betrayal.

Earlier, they were made over by Tim Gunn and Tabatha Coffey. Then, just prior to their going on stage to give speeches to 300 people about their experiences leading up to the show, and on the Ranch, the six were surprised by their loved ones, who'd come to cheer them on and hear how their lives are transforming.

Rebecca's transformation continued at home, as she finished a half-marathon and looks stunning.

Check out Rebecca's interview after the jump.

Orlando Jones to Play Foreman's Estranged Brother on 'House'

Orlando JonesWe've known for a while that Dr. Foreman (Omar Epps) on 'House' has a brother named Marcus who wound up in prison -- a victim of the troubled early years that plagued Foreman as well. Now, thanks to an upcoming parole hearing, Marcus will finally have a face. Entertainment Weekly reports that Orlando Jones will be appearing on 'House' in the role of Marcus Foreman.

Jones ('Mad TV,' those 7-Up commercials) is a bit of a chameleon when it comes to the acting roles he's taken over the years, so there are a ton of different ways he could take this character. He could go the comedic route and have Marcus be representative of every urban stereotype Foreman despises.

'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Season 7 Episode 9 'The Table Read' Recap

Curb Your EnthusiasmWhat happened on this week's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' episode, 'The Table Read' -- in 100 words or less.

The cast of 'Seinfeld' shows up for a funny table read of their reunion special. Michael Richards thinks he's dying of Groat's Disease, so Larry has Leon pretend to be a survivor, which almost leads to Richards re-enacting his racial outburst.

Larry lends his pen to Jason Alexander, but he "soils" it, so Larry demands a new one. Larry uses that pen to try and pacify a young girl he'd befriended who has a rash in a sensitive area.

Craig Ferguson Tops Jimmy Fallon in Ratings (Bring On the Free Candy!)

The Late Late Show With Craig FergusonIt looks like Conan O'Brien vs. David Letterman isn't the only late night war brewing.

For the first time since Craig Ferguson took over in 2005, 'The Late Late Show' has bested 'Late Night' in both total viewers (1.9 million to 1.3 million) and the advertiser coveted 18-49 demo (0.6/3 to 0.5/3), according to the Hollywood Reporter. The two have been neck-and-neck in the demo for the past seven weeks.

Ferguson's win takes on even more significance when you consider that it's coming almost nine months after Jimmy Fallon took over 'Late Night' from Conan O'Brien back on March 2, 2009. As the networks have been saying over and over again during the race between Letterman and O'Brien, late night isn't a sprint. It's a marathon. And after nine months, it looks like Ferguson is starting to pull ahead.

So, what sets Fallon and Ferguson apart? Let's break it down.

Kathy Griffin's 'Let's Dance' May Air at Midseason

Kathy Griffin Let's DanceABC may tango with 'Let's Dance' after all.

Just days after the announcement of its premature demise, word is trickling out that the show could join the network's midseason lineup.

Kathy Griffin was set to host the dance competition, which planned to feature comedic performances by stars of some of the most iconic dances of all time. That meant we'd almost inevitably see someone tackle Michael Jackson's Motown 25th Anniversary performance of the moonwalk, as well as plenty of other classic video and movie performances ('Dirty Dancing,' anyone?)

Christine Baranski Returning to 'The Big Bang Theory'

Christine Baranski and Kaley CuocoLaurie Metcalf made a return appearance earlier this season on 'The Big Bang Theroy' as Sheldon's mother. So, it's only fitting that Leonard's mother will be returning to the show as well.

The Ausiello Files
is reporting that Christine Baranski has agreed to bring back her Emmy-nominated role as Leonard's uptight mother, Dr. Beverly Hofstadter. Luckily, Baranski's regular gig on 'The Good Wife' is a fellow CBS series, so it wasn't a challenge to fit her 'Big Bang' guest spot into her schedule.

The first time she appeared, there was some delightfully awkward tension between her and Sheldon. Some would argue and call it sexual tension, but we're not sure that Sheldon is even a sexual creature. With his own mother (Metcalfe) so decidedly non-intellectual, we think he was just thrilled to have a mother-figure he could mentally spar with.
