Regis Philbin finally made it as the host of a late-night talk show, and all it took was a length of strong rope and duct tape.

In a skit from last night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' Philbin steps in as host and has a bit of fun with Guillermo Diaz Rodriguez, the show's parking lot security guard, before security shows up and removes him. Jimmy Kimmel, meanwhile, has been backstage tied to a chair with his mouth taped shut. It seems some people will do anything for a chance at late-night stardom.

Now that 'V' has gone on hiatus -- until March -- viewers have plenty of time to fret over plot turns. Valerie learns of her pregnancy by Visitor Ryan, alien leader Anna sets her evil sights on Tyler as "the one," Chad discovers he will be stricken by an impending embolism, and Father Landry bleeds on the floor of his church after being stabbed in the stomach.

We're also treated to a look at how visitor "bliss" -- seemingly a kind of mind control with narcotic effects -- functions, and, in this clip, we get a brief glimpse of a fleet of Visitor warships as they approach Earth. That can't be good.

The holiday season is bound to heat up when the 2009 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs Dec. 1 at 10PM on CBS, complete with all the frilly underthings and sundry unmentionables viewers have come to know and love.

'Project Runway' host and supermodel Heidi Klum, who gave birth to her fourth child on Oct. 9, is expected to host rather than walk the runway, and it remains to be seen whether Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima, who gave birth to her first child on Nov. 15, will appear. The Black Eyed Peas will be on hand, performing musical numbers interspersed throughout the show.

Adam Lambert didn't have to wait very long for a chance to speak out after his appearance this week on 'Good Morning America' was canceled because of his recent controversial performance on the 'American Music Awards.' 'The Early Show' quickly snagged the 'American Idol' contestant and featured an interview segment and several performances this morning.
Lambert claimed he had no idea his performance, which featured simulated oral sex and male-male kissing, would ignite the firestorm that it has. "I was really looking forward to it. I worked really with my dancers and my band for about two weeks putting that together," Lambert said. "I admit, I did get carried away, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I do see how people got offended, and that was not my intention. My intention was just to interpret the lyrics of my song and have a good time up there."

For those wondering whether contestants from 'The Biggest Loser' managed to keep off the weight they worked so hard to lose, tonight is your chance. Fans of the show will have a chance to catch up with contestants from the previous seven seasons when the two-hour special 'The Biggest Loser: Where are They Now?' airs on NBC at 8PM.

The special will focus on 40 contestants from seasons 1 through 7, including season 1 winner Ryan Benson, who lost a massive 122 pounds and won the competition in 2004. Sadly, Benson eventually gained all his weight back and is still a struggling actor.

Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson taking the 'Dancing with the Stars' trophy wasn't the only memorable moment during last night's ninth season finale. While looking fit and sounding great, Whitney Houston sang the song 'Million Dollar Bill' from her new album 'I Look to You,' then later belted out her unforgettable 80s hit, 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody.'

The performance was thankfully free of the diva antics or erratic behavior Houston is sometimes known to exhibit. It was, instead, a return to form for the powerhouse singer.

On 'The Big Bang Theory,' wannabe ladies man Howard settles into a bath for some quality alone time in a fantasy involving Katee Sackhoff, but he's rudely interrupted when the 'Battlestar Galactica' actress talks back, reminding him that a real woman, Bernadette, awaits him.

Wolowitz eventually comes to his senses and attempts to win Bernadette back. Meanwhile, Kripke uses a bottle of helium to pull a prank on Sheldon while he appears on a talk radio show, which inspires Sheldon to plot revenge of his own.
