In the halls of William McKinley High, they're social rejects.
But on Wednesday nights, the kids from
'Glee' are quickly becoming the most popular group on TV.
From creators Ryan Murphy ('Nip/Tuck'), Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, 'Glee' follows a band of high school students who risk social suicide (hello, slushies!) to perform in the school's show choir. It's all led by Mr. Schuster (Matthew Morrison), William McKinely's young-and-hip Spanish teacher who can bust a move worthy of Young MC.
At the center of glee club (well, at least in her head) is Rachel (
Lea Michele), an aspiring Broadway hopeful with a big ol' crush on Finn (
Cory Monteith). The only problem: Finn is still dating cheerleader Quinn (
Dianna Agron), who is now carrying his baby -- or so he thinks (it's actually Puck's, played by Mark Salling. Ah, high school!).
