Joe Biden to Appear on 'Daily Show'

Would-be veep Sarah Palin is already promoting her upcoming book 'Going Rogue: An American Life,' beginning with an exclusive sit down with Oprah. So perhaps Joe Biden would like to remind you that he has a book, too. And he's actually vice president. The former senior senator from Delaware will appear on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart Nov. 17.

Biden's memoir, 'Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics,' has been in paperback for a year. He should feel a lot of love in the studio -- especially since Biden's predecessor was and still is a favorite subject of 'The Daily Show' host. Stewart gets huge laughs from his barbed impression of Cheney, which sounds a bit like Burgess Meredith's Penguin from TV's 'Batman' (Strange but true: Dick Cheney never guested on 'The Daily Show').

Nevertheless, expect Stewart to ask some tough questions, as Biden is an acknowledged foreign policy expert and often refreshingly candid on matters of state.
