Our Ideas for 'Survivor,' 'Ghost Whisperer' and Other CBS Video Games

There will come a time, no doubt, when every show on TV will be turned into a video game to delight and distract us from all the other important stuff we're supposed to be doing in our lives.

CBS is stepping up to help contribute to our delinquency with a new slate of TV-based video games. They've already got two 'CSI' games on shelves, and six more are in the works for a number of systems, including the Wii, Nintendo DS, iPhone and iPod Touch.

We thought we'd help out by supplying a few possible scenarios for these upcoming games:

'Ghost Whisperer'
The no-brainer, of course, is to help the ghosts go into the light. However, we prefer scoring points for bringing Melinda's dead hubby Jim back from the light -- in his own body.

'Hollywood Squares'
Paul Lynde for the center square to win! But since Lynde, Charley Weaver, Wally Cox and Rose Marie aren't available, how about a "choose your own people" scenario? Just think of the possibilities -- you could have Bill O'Reilly sitting next to Bill Maher.

'The Amazing Race'
You pick your partner, you choose your global sites. Better yet, let's take this baby into space! Eight planets in just 21 days! Visiting the crews of Star Trek's Enterprise, Firefly's Serenity, and Stargate's Destiny along the way!

'Diagnosis Murder'
It's a hostage situation at Community General Hospital, and the hostages are getting killed off one by one! It's up to Dr. Mark Sloan (that would be you) to diagnosis this murder before he's not around to do it.

'Survivor'
This game was scrapped once before, but how about kicking things up by making it a true survivor game. Last person standing wins!

'Criminal Minds'
You, too, can be an FBI profiler and help analyze the country's most twisted minds! And then decide what to do with them once you've collared the criminal.

And while we're at it, here are a few more we think would make great games:

'The Big Bang Theory'
This show screams video game, and would take little work on the developers' part. The possibilities are endless from "compete in the Physics Bowl" to "plot against Wil Wheaton" to "build a comic book arch enemy."

'How I Met Your Mother'
Find Ted's baby mama!

'The Late Show With David Letterman'
How about a "hunt the interns" scenario? Too soon? Ok then.
