Curtis Stone: The Chef Who's About to Take Over Your TV

In 2010, Rachael Ray and Paula Deen will compete against Curtis Stone for the most ubiquitous face in TV food.

Over the next year, the Australia-born, London-trained chef, cookbook author and media personality is set to invade your boob tube on a boatload of shows, including 'Losing It With Jillian,' which NBC has spun off from 'The Biggest Loser' to showcase uber-trainer Jillian Michaels. Stone will provide better-eating advice for families while Michaels whips them into shape.

Stone -- who rose to fame hosting TLC's 'Take Home Chef' -- will still guest-appear on 'The Biggest Loser' this season, especially since his new cookbook, 'Relaxed Cooking with Curtis Stone,' is selling in stores. During his downtime, 'The Today Show' plans to keep Stone on as a contributor and 'Oprah' will likely bring him back for another segment.

Did we also mention Stone covers food and recipes for AOL? Or that he's signed up as a cast member of 'Celebrity Apprentice 3,' airing next March? On that show, he'll vie with Sharon Osbourne, Cindi Lauper, ex-Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, comics Carol Leifer and Sinbad and former Met/Yankee slugger Darryl Strawberry to win the benediction of the Donald.

For his part, Stone couldn't be more excited with the opportunities he's getting. "I'm just so grateful to be doing what I love to do, and the TV audiences feel that enthusiasm," the chef tells us. "I had a lot of fun doing 'Take Home Chef' on TLC, and now I am so happy to be part of the NBC family. I look forward to introducing myself to some new viewers on 'Celebrity Apprentice.' 'The Biggest Loser' and 'Losing It' will allow me the unique and powerful opportunity to impact families' lives through positive awareness as it relates to offering better-eating advice."

He's been tagged as Down Under's Jamie Oliver and one of People's sexiest men alive. He's a griller, a fan of the organic ... and a connoisseur of simplicity. He's also quite probably one the most recognizable faces of 2010 -- and the New Year hasn't even arrived yet.
