Eric Braeden Returning to 'The Young and the Restless'

ERic Braeden'The Young and the Restless' fans were outraged when we first reported that longtime star Eric Braeden (aka Victor Newman) was leaving the show over a contract dispute.

Well, never mind.

TV Guide confirms that Braeden will not be leaving 'Y&R' after all; the actor will take a pay cut, as the rest of the cast had already agreed to do.

It's not yet clear what this means for Victor's storyline, given that Braeden's last episode was scheduled to air next week. Will Victor go away on a quick vacation? Will he die and come back from the dead? Or will producers scrap his planned storyline and re-film so that everything seems like business as usual?

Read more about Braeden's return to the show on TV Squad.
