Suit Up! Batman Battles a Singing, Dancing Neil Patrick Harris

Holy NPH, Batman! It's going to be a legen -- wait for it -- dary battle tonight when Batman: The Brave and the Bold gets musical (7:30PM ET, Cartoon Network) in an episode that pits the Caped Crusader vs. ... Neil Patrick Harris?!

NPH plays Music Meister, a Gotham City foe who cleverly manipulates others to do his evil bidding with snappy songs. Batman, Black Canary, Aquaman and Green Arrow team up to thwart MM, who commandeers a satellite to spread his malevolent plans far and wide, in an episode entitled 'Mayhem of the Music Meister!'

It's all a little 'Buffy'-ish, a little 'Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog'-ish, which means casting the beloved 'How I Met Your Mother' star as the musically inclined baddie is nothing short of genius.

The episode was a hit with fans when it was screened at Comic-Con in San Diego last summer, and clips have been available online since, while the episode's soundtrack, featuring tunes like 'Drive Us Bats' and 'I'm the Music Meister,' will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com on Saturday.

And the 'Batman' ep just serves as more fodder for a little philosophy we here at AOL TV live by: There's nothing the singing, dancing, acting, magic-doing, Emmy-hosting, villain-voicing NPH can't do.
