Look like she's not all talk. Kelly Ripa, who has always spoken fondly of her time on 'All My Children,' announced today on 'Live With Regis & Kelly' today that she and real-life husband Mark Consuelos are returning to Pine Valley for two episodes early next year. The couple will reprise their popular roles of Hayley and Mateo Santos on Jan. 4 and 5, 2010 to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Agnes Nixon-created sudser. Watch Ripa make the announcement on 'Regis & Kelly' below:
Ripa's often said that she'd be willing to revisit Hayley -- unlike some ex-soap stars who deny they were ever even on daytime. The days of applying a dab or three of Liquid Paper to soap credits on resumes really weren't that long ago, but Ripa and Consuelos have never hidden the fact that they began their careers -- and real-life romance-- while they were on ABC Daytime. -- By Mike Maloney

"How long will she be on for?"...are you kidding me? What kind of english is that? Please, there are children reading.

What kind of English is what???? If you find something that was said I didn't read it or watch it. Perhaps you should head over to Glenn Becks blog.

Thank you, that sentence made me shudder, too.

Good for you Julia,
I hate to see poor grammar in print for all to see and eventually accept.

I agree! That person who ended their sentence with a preposition obviously has difficulty reading as well! -
"The couple will reprise their popular roles of Hayley and Mateo Santos on Jan. 4 and 5, 2010 to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Agnes Nixon-created sudser."

Unfortunately, if you are going to correct someone's comment, you should be sure everything in your comment is correct. English is spelled with a capital "E".

Shut Up! I hate when people leave comments trying to tell grown people what not to say or do.

Thank you Julia! That sentence structure is horrible!!

That's the first thing that I thought! It's nice to know it's not just me. Thanks

Hey Marita ... "That's the first thing that I thought! It's nice to know it's not just me. Thanks" How elitist to make a comment about someone's incorrect grammar, but be grammatically incorrect. I think
what you meant to say is "That's the first thing that I thought! It's nice to know it's not just I." (I who feels, thinks this way - not me who feels, thinks this way) Oh God, I've sunk to the same level of
obnoxiousness ... is that a word? I'm sure you'll all
let me know if I'm wrong. Thanks in advance.
