In the other corner (New York City), you have 'Hills' offshoot 'The City,' starring LC pal Whitney Port, who's learning to make it on her own in the big, bad ... well, city.Two sibling shows, two different scenes ... which one do you prefer?

Neither. I stopped watching MTV when it stopped being Music TV... you know, the station with music videos? If MTV isn't preaching some pro-Obama, pro-socialist, pro-MMGW, pro-liberal political agenda to kids and teenagers it is showing shows that have NOTHING to do with music! That's the problem with our devolving country, the media doesn;t report unbiased news anymore, MTV doesn't show music videos...WTF?!?

Both of these shows suck harder than a Hoover. Their only reason for existance is to provide clips for Joel McHale on The Soup, which is the only reason I even know they exist. From what I have seen of them on The Soup, it seems safe to say that the supposed talent is just one, maybe two steps removed from appearing in porn, except that I don't think they have even that much talent.
Just a thought.

I don't even like Mtv anymore......don't even know why they still bother calling it "Music Television". It sucks......

First of all, you have to consider what they play music. Very little of what comes out today is real music. Videos used to be entertaining in their own right, but just too dark for the most part. Unless I'm stopping to take a bite of something while flipping channels, I don't even watch Mtv. So why concern myself about a series being broadcast on that channel?

Today's MTV is total crap and about as entertaining as an infomercial. If cable companies offered channels via ala carte, MTV would probably disappear due to lack of interest!
