• Canadian import 'Flashpoint's' third season had already been picked up by Canda's CTV. On Monday, CBS placed its order for 13 episodes, to air this winter, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Last season, the show drew an average of 9.6 million viewers on CBS, making it the highest-rated among the recent spate of low-budget imports on U.S. networks
• A seventh serving of 'Top Chef' will air in 2010, Bravo announced Monday. From Oct.18 to Nov. 15, casting calls for cable's top-rated cooking show will be held in seven cities: San Francisco, Miami, Chicago, Washington, New York, Dallas, and Los Angeles. Sharpen those knives now.
• Bravo also announced Tuesday that 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' will be back for more table-flipping drama in 2010. With an average of 2.55 million viewers last spring, the Jersey edition became the highest-rated series of the 'Real Housewives' franchise. Which, by the way, is adding a new city next year. Bravo's announcement included notice of a formal pickup order for 'The Real Housewives of DC.'
• 'Californication' was guaranteed a pick-up after just airing just one episode of season 3. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Sept. 27 season premiere drew a series record of 821,000 viewers, up 57 percent from the season 2 premiere last year. Fittingly, for a show whose current season takes place on a college campus, 'Californication' announced its renewal to the world Monday via Facebook.-- By Gary Susman

I enjoy Top Chef. However, Housewives of New Jersey, Atlanta, etc, etc, IMO, is trash.

Rachel Zoe Project? This program is returning, yes? It truly is just "the eye" on fashion! RZ is a a "True Icon of the Fashion Industry." Her show, is so naturally full of humor, drama, and "humorous drama"! She and Roger have such a wonderful,warm and loving relationship. Having been married 16yrs, they support each other 100% plus! Constantly! Tho,they are serparated a great deal of the work day, week, etc., with her 'super successful, and growing business, that keeps Rachel, and her staff, (sometimes Roger as well) moving at 'break neck speed'! She is often, and with every good reason, and validation, refered too, as the "TOP STYLIST, in the world"! With clients,as well as good friends, such as " Demi Moore, Jennifer Garner, Liv Tyler, Eva Mendes, Anne Hathaway,etc etc. At times, Rachel, can be seen, hauling afoot, with long time Personal Assist. Taylor, and more recent, Assist., Brad. at her sides, "Keep it moving people, keep it moving" down Rodeo Dr., in and out, of the most prominent stores in, Beverly Hills, L.A., pulling '"new seasonal wardrobes",or perhaps, a special event ensemble, with complete accesseriesto wear, for each, and every one! Not leaving the flashy, rides far behind, as the pieces they've pulled, will often arrive, before they return, too Rachel Zoe's hot, studio. Already filled with some of the most "goregeous,designer clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, vintage, couture" , one might possibly ever see, in one place" Having seen, just this week, Rachel, Roger,as well as most of her staff, make the trip too "Paris Fashion Week", her studio will ASAP, be too the brim, with all that she "drooled" over, on the Paris,runways. As one can bet, Rachel was seeing, her own constant, visual images, of which of her many clients, would just have "that particular, piece", all over them! Making her way, after each showing, too "congratulate, and chat" giddy as a school girl, with each and every 'Giant of the Designer World". From Karl Lagerfeld, too Marc Jacobs". Whom she calls an "Old and dear friend'. Asking him immediately,"If he would like to bend over, so she could blow some smoke up his ass?" Pretty damned funny, and he loved it!" Without a doubt, she is an 'Icon' of fashion.and it seems, is 'well loved' by all in that industry. I could easily see why. In a program last week, "Ordered too stay home for a rest, by her physician, as she'd developed "Vertigo" thru her stressful work. She immediately, called her good friend, Cristo, over and asked, "If she pulled and donated some of her jewelry, too donate, could he put together a 'show around it' too raise money for cancer research?" He was immediately on board. She donated some 200 pieces from a most fabulous collection, that she says she's collected for more than 25 yrs. Vintage pieces of Chanel, Hermes, etc. Some of which, she said "she couldn't breathe, at the thought, and put the brakes on those pieces. lol...The show was most successful, raising thousands, in person, before the remainder, later, having gone online, for sale. She was thrilled, as both her parents, are cancer survivors. She says she can remember, by the age of 3yrs. old, adoring the feel of the fabric of a dress she was wearing! Falling in step, as she watched her mother, at 12yrs. old, she was the only one, wearing big, designer, sunglasses, in a crowd of friends & family. Outside, in the dark! The words that come out of her mouth, are those that the fashion world, repeat over and over, and can really be most hysterical. In writing this, I really, meant too just be sure her program was returning, However, ere I find myself telling how and why I enjoy it so. It is a reality show It does, without doubt, have plenty "DRAMA", all on it's own. However, it is constantly entertaining, certainly educational, if you are, at all interested in "any and every, small too large. step, of the fashion world, and it does not hurt at all, the fact that you often see, exactly how many gorgeous, handsome, superstars, are put together, for the Emmys, Oscars, many big events, and just what is chosen, then fitted to, and approved by each one, at times, just for their everyday wear." The rest go back to the stores. SOMETIMES! The 2 largest draws to the show for me, well let's say 3, are that, "Rachel is a mega "self made", ooberly successful, woman,in a HUGE INDUSTRY. The fact that the marriage of Rachel and Roger, is what I stated in the beginning. Not perfect, but it's "Warm, loving, fun, humor, laughter, and so important, full of communication, as well as, constant, and complete, support, of and for, one another! Third but not last, is a grouping of, "The pure talent of Rachel Zoe, and watching her at work. Her eagerness, and goodness, too want too teach, and pass that on, too the few chosen that she does. Her company, her "family", as she refers too them, is just that. She is at times, like a "mother hen", protective of each one. Rachel is real too. There absolutely nothing "phoney orfalse" about her. The "fashion lingo", foreign, as it may sound at times, is nothing more, than the language of the industry. Much of it, it seems. created by her. It can be so humorous as well. Her staff, can be and often is, just as protective, and guarded over her. I love her 'open, honesty' about life. No matter what is in it. Or what happens too come up, in the way of a "complcated day". Whether hers is a luxurious life or it is not. She is well aware of the "Stress of finance" in our present time. She often makes reference too it, as does Roger. She seems most kind and generous too her staff. Besides, as a viewer, "The Devil Wears Prada" showed us nothing at all, compared too "Rachel Zoe showing us the "Week in Paris Fashion". It was surreal and amazing too watch. Even on television. I love "The Rachel Zoe Project. Please Rachel, stay where you are, and Bravo, please, leave TRZP, alone. As I said, "I just got here. ")
