MONDAY, SEPT. 28
Trauma'Trauma' (9PM, NBC) series premiere
One of three new medical dramas this season (two on NBC – the network clearly already misses 'ER'), 'Trauma' follows a team of paramedics in San Francisco. Most of the action takes place outside hospitals, as we see just how dangerous the paramedics' jobs are, a fact that dramatically impacts lead paramedic Reuben (Cliff Curtis) and his team in the premiere.

'Lie to Me' – 2nd season premiere (9PM, Fox)
'Greek' – Cappie helps Evan find a job (9PM, ABC Family)

TUESDAY, SEPT 29
The Hills Kristin Cavallari'The Hills' (10PM, MTV)
She's baaaack. That 'she' we refer to is, of course, Kristin Cavallari, the 'Laguna Beach' star who caused so much drama for Lauren Conrad lo so many years ago. LC is out of the picture now, but Kristin's got her eyes on a new target for romance – Justin Bobby – which is gonna cause all kinds of problems for Audrina.

'The City' – Whitney is single, with a new job and a new roommate (10:30PM, MTV)
'NCIS' – Gibbs gets the final word on Ziva (8PM, CBS)
'The Good Wife' – Alicia represents a stripper who says she was raped (10PM, CBS)
'Melrose Place' – Jane Mancini (Josie Bissett) returns! (9PM, The CW)
'90210' – Liam tells Naomi what really happened on prom night (8PM, The CW)

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 30
Patricia Heaton in The Middle'The Middle' (8:30PM, ABC) series premiere
There's a 'Malcolm in the Middle'-ish vibe with this new sitcom, starring Patricia Heaton as the mom of a middle-class, middle-America family. Heaton's Frankie juggles her job as a (not-so-successful) car salesperson with being a wife to hubby Mike (Neil Flynn), and mother to three kids, including odd youngest son Brick, whose best friend is his backpack.

'Hank' – Kelsey Grammer's back in sitcom land as a wealthy exec who moves his family to Virginia when he loses his job (8PM, ABC) series premiere

'Law & Order: SVU' – 'Will & Grace's' Eric McCormack guest stars (9PM, NBC)
'King of the Crown' – Reality series follows beauty pageant coach Cyrus Frakes (9PM, TLC) series premiere

THURSDAY, OCT. 1
Private Practice'Private Practice' (10PM, ABC) 3rd season premiere
It's an emotional season opener for Addison and pals, as Addison and Naomi work feverishly to save Violet, while Violet's baby – and the woman who attacked her in the season two finale – are still missing. And in flashbacks, we see how Violet and Pete met, right after his wife died.

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' – There's fallout from NeNe's fight with Kandi and Kim (10PM, Bravo)

'Supernatural' – Dean heads five years into the future and is attacked by zombies (9PM, The CW)

FRIDAY, OCT. 2
Stargate Universe'Stargate Universe' (9PM, SyFy) series premiere
In the third series in the 'Stargate' franchise, Robert Carlyle, Ming-Na and Lou Diamond Phillips star as military personnel and scientists voyaging off to explore the galaxies. New fans and the 'SG' devoted are likely to dig this newest entry, with its special appearances from other 'SG' alum and high drama; buzz is that several major deaths occur by the end of the two-hour premiere.

He's back on CBS and dealing with blood again, but this time it's as one of the world's premiere transplant surgeons, at a Pittsburgh hospital. 'The L Word's' Katherine Moennig also stars in the medical drama, where, in the opener, an 18-year-old needs a double lung transplant.
