Let's be honest: the word "cougar" has kind of gotten a bad rap. Luckily, Courteney Cox is back on TV to change all that.In 'Cougar Town' (premieres Wed., Sept. 23, 9:30PM ET on ABC), Cox plays Jules, a recently divorced mom who finds a whole slew of younger men attracted to her when she decides to start dating again.
AOL TV got the exclusive scoop from Cox about the new show, what it's like being labeled a cougar, working with 'Scrubs' creator Bill Lawrence again and how her character's blunt nature is a lot like her own. Watch the full interview here:

YOU ARE ON THE MARK. THIS SHOW STINKS AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN AIR TIME. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. THE ACTING (IF YOU CAN CALL IT THAT) SUCKS...

I totally agree - the adult "humor" was totally inappropriate for prime time, and wasn't actually funny anyway! What's funny about a woman with a teenage son suddenly going after anything in pants? And seriously - the oral sex/banana thing - NOT funny!! My kids would have packed up and moved away if they'd happened upon that.....

We sat through this show and it went from bad to worse. There was not one single believable moment, and the acting was atrocious. If Courtney Cox thinks she is doing anything to put the spotlight on actors who happen to be female and happen to be over 35, she needs to think again. Condescending, patronizing, insulting...every woman in America over forty should send Courtney Cox a dollar and we can all pay for her therapy to deal with her fear of aging. And the scene where the son caught her having oral sex with a stranger she picked up in some bar made everyone in the room cringe. And no, we are not prudes but thqat was just disgusting and the ensuing bananna joke was horrible. Considering she is a parent, Im shocked she went down that road. This went WAY over so many lines on so many levels - please cancel ASAP!

I felt the "adult humor" this program contained was totally inappropriate for prime-time tv, and I did not find the show funny whatsoever. I wonder if little Coco stayed up late to watch??
