Famed magicians Penn and Teller will star in a new comedy pilot for ABC. Written by 'House' scribe Leonard Dick, the duo will play two Las Vegas magicians who also work as reluctant detectives during the daytime. No word yet on whether they'll actually be able to work their magic. [Variety]
Thora Birch ('American Beauty') and Nancy Travis ('The Bill Engvall Show') will star in the new Lifetime original movie 'Pregnancy Pact.' Birch will play Sidney Bloom, a blogger who investigates the rising number of teen pregnancies at her old high school, which may have been caused by a pact among friends.
