Marie Osmond's upcoming talk show has been put on hold. The show was scheduled to debut in September. However, the distributor said Friday that poor ad sales will prevent a national launch. In the meantime, Osmond says she still sees a future in daytime TV, stating "This project, under proper conditions, still remains a strong passion of mine." [Variety]
CBS has picked up a re-do of the popular game show 'Let's Make a Deal.' The network has already shot a pilot of the show, hosted by 'Don't Forget the Lyrics'' Wayne Brady, and is considering placing it in 'Guiding Light''s time slot sometime after the soap ends its 72-year run on Sept. 18. USA Network has renewed 'In Plain Sight' for 16 additional episodes -- but with a few changes. Executive producers David Maples and Paul Stupin will now serve as consultants while a new showrunner is brought in to give the show "a little more narrative drive." Meanwhile, the network is also considering moving the show from 10PM to 9PM, where it may be paired with another series, instead of 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent.' [Hollywood Reporter]

Pauley Perrette will guest on episode 2 of the upcoming 'NCIS' spin-off, 'NCIS: Los Angeles.' I'm disappointed Marie's talk show is on hold - I have been looking forward to seeing it. I saw Marie and Donny in Vegas and it was a wonderful show. They're both multi-talented entertainers and I wish they both had variety shows on TV again. I want music and comedy, not the murder and awful reality shows we have now.

Isn't the world sick of Marie Osmond yet?? Every magazine you open there she is! Also on internet advertising for weight loss or her dolls!!! Always talking about her 8 kids yet most were adopted! Mother of the year yet constantly working!

Looking at the above picture of Marie Osmond holding two of the dolls that she created, makes me wonder what the Morman Church thinks about them. They are scantily clad, not wearing that "special" underwear that Morman's have to wear that almost comes down to the knees and most of the chest area. I think there are enough talk shows on TV so I am not excited about her having a show.

To #7 your comment about the Mormon Church (correct spelling) is ridicules. And the special underwear are called "Garments". Anyway why would a doll have these on? They are for people and they do have a special meaning. Do your research before you comment. They are just dolls for goodness sake.

I think she would do fine....I saw them in columbus ohio way back in early 80's....One of the best shows ive ever seen...My girlfriend at the time and her family invited me to go see them.....And i thought....NO WAY...LOL...She was terrific and i might say....Looks better now then she did then...The last time i saw her on tv, she looked sexy and very attractive...
