Chris Martin, Eartha Kitt and Others to Guest Voice on 'The Simpsons' & More TV News

Chris Martin'The Simpsons' has recruited more guest voices for its upcoming 21st season, premiering Sept. 27 on Fox. Among the voices you'll hear this season include Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, Seth Rogen, the Smothers Brothers and the late Eartha Kitt, who recorded her part before her death. [EW.com]




Family GuyFox will not air an upcoming 'Family Guy' episode that deals with abortion. The episode, titled 'Partial Terms of Endearment,' was brought up at this year's Comic-Con, and was planned to air sometime next season. But today, Fox released the following statement: "Fox will not air the 'Partial Terms of Endearment' episode of 'Family Guy,' but we fully support the producers' right to make the episode and distribute it in whatever way they want." GleeFox has made a couple of tweaks to its 2009 fall premiere schedule. The fall launch of 'So You Think You Can Dance' will now air on Sept. 9, along with 'Glee.' Meanwhile, 'Brothers' and 'Dollhouse' have moved from Sept. 18 to Sept. 25, where they will then be paired with ''Til Death' beginning Oct. 2. [EW.com]

Make It or Break ItABC Family has picked up the hit teen gymnastics series 'Make It or Break It' for an additional 10 episodes. The order comes midway through 'Make It''s first season, and will air during the first quarter of 2010. Talk about a perfect 10. [Hollywood Reporter]


Jamie Bamber'Dollhouse'
will experience a bit of a 'Battlestar Galactica' reunion when Jamie Bamber guests on the show's second season premiere. Bamber will reportedly play a new character who becomes involved with Echo (Eliza Dushku) and her handler Ballard, played by Tahmoh Penikett. 'Dollhouse' premieres Sept. 25 on Fox. [Ausiello Files]

CapricaSyfy will premiere the upcoming 'Battlestar Galactica' prequel 'Caprica' on Jan. 22, 2010. The two-hour pilot stars Esai Morales, Eric Stoltz, Paula Malcomson and Polly Walker, and will be set 58 years prior to 'Battlestar.' 20 additional hours of 'Caprica' have since been ordered. and George Lopez have been named hosts of this year's ALMA Awards. Longoria Parker will also serve as executive producer of the telecast, airing Sept. 18 on ABC. [Hollywood Reporter]
