NBC reportedly wanted to pay "at least $10 million" to air a special covering the Aug. 29 Michael Jackson memorial. A plan was also considered to air the two-hour special sometime during 'The Jay Leno Show''s premiere week, possibly right before 'Leno''s Sept. 14 kick-off. However, the deal has allegedly reached a standstill. [Showbiz 411]
'The Oprah Winfrey Show' hit a ratings low point earlier this month, averaging a measly 3.2 household rating for the week ending July 5. That marks the show's worst performance since its 1983 debut, although it admittedly aired repeats amidst coverage of Wimbledon and Michael Jackson's death. Low ratings: Definitely not one of Oprah's favorite things. [NY Daily News]

Oprah's ratings are down and so is Obama's. Maybe she should stop trying to run the country.

Oprah has always been at the bottom in my way of thinking because of the way she delt with the election of Obama simply because of his color nothing more. I have nothing but disgust for her and what she stands for
