The sixth season of 'Hell's Kitchen' premieres tonight at 8PM ET on Fox, in which chef Gordon Ramsay will unleash his merciless stream of verbal abuse on the new set of cooks. This season's winner will get the job of executive chef at Araxi restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia. And Reality Blurred reports that season 2's winner, Heather West, will be Gordon's sous chef for the women's team. (Watch a preview clip after the jump)

I started to watch season 6, but had to pack it in. Once again the notion that any one of these people could be executive chef in some high end restaurant is just a little bit of a stretch. FOX executives maybe , but not executive chefs. Not to mention they'll need subtitles for that ex-marine and the guy from Texas. The whole show is just so contrived and predictable.

Just one example of how contrived HK is: they show the diners getting restless and in past seasons they walk out and complain and send dishes back. As if they don't know going in that the whole thing is a crap-shoot.

There is way too much cussing and cursing. I have never seen a TV show with this many times repeating th F... word. Is this a cooking show, or a cussing contest? I will never watch the show again, and will recommend to my friends not to watch it either, as long as the filthy language, continues. So much cussing is an insult to the TV audience, unless you cater to the lowest, uneducated bums.

I just don't understand how these people who seem to be able to cook suddenly cannot. Also why in the world do the patron's wait for 2 hours? They must be getting paid, because I'd have been gone a long time ago. Gordon Ramsay may be a great chef, but I don't see that his belittling of each and every potential chef. What good does that do? Why not say, good try, work on it. Or at least something positive more than once in the hour that we see the show on TV. What do they do for the rest of the time? Sit and twiddle their thumbs??

what about that show down when Joseph told chef Ramsey off! That guy won't get to far in life with that kind of attitude!
