Captain Jack and his (few) remaining cohorts are up against a particularly wily foe this time, as a race of aliens – with a shocking connection to Jack – is demanding 10 percent of Earth's children, lest they release a deadly virus that will kill millions.

In the opener, things go predictably out of control as the contestants divide into teams and are charged with preparing their signature dishes. Even better: Rumor has it Ramsay and a wannabe get physical this season.

Katie Holmes, who helps the show celebrate its 100th installment with a bit of toe-tapping. Holmes will reportedly be dancing to Judy Garland's "Get Happy," as she and 'SYTYCD' judge Nigel Lythgoe also celebrate the launch of their Dizzy Feet Foundation, which promotes dance education.

'Torchwood' (9PM, BBCA) 3rd season finale No, you're not imagining it – that was one short season. The miniseries that serves as the series' third season concludes tonight after many shocking, some heartbreaking, moments for Captain Jack and crew, and one fierce battle to save Earth's children. We're not spoiling the wrap-up, though we will say that for one of the big baddies, karma proves to be exactly the bee-otch he deserves.

Which of the lamers will the queen of cosmetically-enhanced lips choose to be her man, and will they live happily ever after? We'll get an answer on that first one, but as for happily ever after ... all depends on whether or not Daisy signs up for season two, we're guessing.
