Jon Heder'Napoleon Dynamite''s Jon Heder will star in a new scripted comedy series for Comedy Central. Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy are on tap to write and produce the untitled project about an unemployed IT specialist who moves back in with his family. [Hollywood Reporter]





Ryan SeacrestRyan Seacrest is close to finalizing a new deal with 19 Entertainment. The deal would reportedly extend his 'American Idol' run for an additional three years, with a hefty pay raise that would "make him one of the highest-paid reality hosts on television." DollhouseFox's 'Dollhouse' will return one week later than originally planned. The show's second season will now kick off on Sept. 25 at 9PM, not Sept. 18, so that each episode can run consecutively.
