Now fans have over two months to wait for more of the sassy hour-long musical comedy (premieres Wed., Sept. 16, 9PM ET), but I was lucky enough to get a special sneak peek of two more episodes of 'Glee' this week. Without spoiling anything, here are a few things you can (and should) start getting excited for now:
*Creator Ryan Murphy's ('Nip/Tuck,' 'Popular') sharp-tongued wit with somewhat obscure music taste is even more prominent in these new episodes. A '99 Luftballons' reference? Genius.
*Another '80s jam gets more than a reference -- one of Salt-N-Pepa's greatest hits is given the glee club treatment. Two words: Sex. Hilarious.*The celibacy club (headed up by president Quinn Fabray) will get some new members, and some majorly anti-celibate stuff goes down with a few others.
*Quinn will also get to join in on the singing ... and man, can she sing.
*Flamboyant Kurt and the McKinley High football team single-handedly rock some Beyonce. 'SNL,' eat your heart out.*Love littering and archaic forms of physical punishment? Then you'll love Cheerio's coach Sue Sylvester's new spots on the local news. Simply put, funny lady Jane Lynch is even more brilliant here than usual.
*Kanye West's 'Gold Digger' brings out the best in show choir instructor Will Schuester. In case you forget he was once in show choir too -- and he's got a gold digger of his own at home.*Speaking of Mrs. Sheets 'n' Things Schuester, she pops up at McKinley in a totally unexpected way.
*Remember when Coach Sue described glee club as the lowest of the low? Well, in episode 2, mailmen have an even worse, more painful (and, yes, laugh-out-loud funny) existence. Over and over again.
