On 'The Bachelorette's most recent episode, Jillian Harris was crushed to learn from booted suitor Jake that Wes, one of the remaining contenders, has a girlfriend at home. Jake even knew the name of said significant other: Laurel. Meanwhile, Wes adamantly denied the claim. But the woman in question, Laurel Kagay of Austin, Tex., told People.com that she is not Wes' girlfriend. Though they dated for three years, she said they decided to be just friends a year ago. "I'm absolutely not with Wes, nor would I be with Wes if he were going on a show to be with another girl. That's absolutely crazy."
Strangely, this isn't Laurel's only experience with 'The Bachelor' franchise. She dated former 'Bachelor' Brad Womack, who didn't choose either of the final two ladies on the show -- one of whom, DeAnna Pappas, later became a 'Bachelorette.' Laurel also briefly dated Collin Evans, a suitor for 'Bachelorette' Jen Schefft. Callit six degrees of reality dating.
But even if Wes, an aspiring singer, is telling the truth, the guy is shady and clearly looking to advance his music career. We still think Jillian shouldn't choose any of the remaining contenders. Who do you believe? Is Wes a good guy after all?

Wes is a snake. There for his career and nothing more. The show should not give him or his band any free publicity. Too much of a coincidence for laurel to have dated two other bachelors from previous seasons if you ask me. What is she, a show groupie?

Frankly, I think Jillian gets what she deserves. As far as I have noticed, she has been playing with all of their hearts. She's a tease, making each and every one of them think he's 'the one'. I think she is somewhat starstruck herself, dumping some darned great guys for this Wannabe in the ill-fitting jacket.

CAN BE TAKEN IN BY HIM I THOUGHT SHE WAS SMARTER.

I think Jake should be the new Bachelor next season. I thought they had real chemistry on that first date. She has this fantasy about Wes because of her first love who serenaded her. I think it stuck with her,and she is making a BIG mistake falling for Wes. He isn't even that cute. Jake was HOT HOt Hot... and GOOD guy!

Jillian has already admitted she's attracted to the "bad boys." She's intrigued by him. I think she's also using him as much as he is obviously using this show to launch his career. In the end, I am certain she will dump him. But Ed...he's a different story - she will end up with Ed in the end. Personally, I like Reese.
