'Grey's Anatomy''s backstage drama may be coming to a close.

Today, sources claim Katherine Heigl will be returning to the Emmy-winning series -- just one day after it was announced that her co-star, T.R. Knight, was checking out for good.

In other news: Oscar winner Linda Hunt ('The Year of Living Dangerously') is joining 'NCIS: LA.' She'll play a hard-nosed new character, replacing Louise Lombard, who was featured in the backdoor pilot.
