Despite blowing the judges away with her pitch-perfect audition -- and subsequently being viewed hundreds of millions of times on YouTube -- Susan Boyle lost 'Britain's Got Talent' on Saturday night.SuBo, as she's been affectionately nicknamed, became an overnight sensation after taking the stage and unexpectedly knocking Simon Cowell's socks off a few weeks ago. Her frumpy appearance, humble attitude and angelic voice won over fans and instantly made her a household name.
But all the media attention wasn't enough to nab the Scottish singer the top prize on the U.K. equivalent of 'America's Got Talent.' She walked away the runner-up, losing to a dance troupe named Diversity, who won a $159,000 cash prize and a chance to perform in front of the Queen.

Don't blame it on the Hollywood package. It's an entertainment package and that should include not only 1st rate talent, the best the world has to offer, but also attractive/appealing talent, not someone that looks like your wife or the local can't-get-a-date bar fly. Go to any university music department and stroll the halls of the rehearsal halls and you'll hear better, younger and prettier. We pay for the shows on TV, one way or another, top-of-the-line is what our entertainment escape fantasy should be....get the hook...

Susan may have come in second but she is the true winner. Nobody even cared about whoever did win this and they aren't even mentioned in the media. The true winner for is Susan and she will be the success not the winner of this show.

I know Susan does not have the sex appeal that most people want. This show is about talent not looks. While dancing was good it is only a repiticious act while singing is an art and a talent the show should be judged accordingly. People who vote on looks are very shallow. Good luck in the future Susan you should have won.

So like the news hounds (they are the real dogs here!). They take nothing and make it into something. An a God given talent they kick to the side because it doesn't sell SEX. America and those watching want sex out of woman singing as well as anything else they do. Take a beautiful woman inside and out with no brain, no talent and she makes headline news just off of looks. A guy has talent they don't care how they look, they have a great voice. Don't let anyone see you have emotions of madness when they try to tear you down. That's what they like to make you out to be the ugly one. When in fact they are the mad ones. They have no life except for the ones they create, they make the news happen and most of the public watch and believe this trash. Why don't you dogs take a c---- in your our back yard? You are what sad is all about. lmah
