TV News Daily: Freddie Prinze Jr. Joins '24'

Freddie Prinze Jr. 24Freddie Prinze Jr. has booked a series regular role on '24' season 8. He'll play Marine Davis Cole, who years to become Jack Bauer's predecessor.

In other casting news: John Lithgow has signed on for all 12 episodes of 'Dexter' season 4, playing the ominous-sounding "Trinity Killer," known for committing homicides in threes.

Meanwhile, T.R. Knight may be leaving Seattle Grace for goods. Sources claim the 'Grey's Anatomy' star will not return for the show's sixth season this fall.
