As expected, the visibly strained couple addressed the rumors with tears and apologies -- all in the midst of planning their sextuplets' fifth birthday party, where paparazzi was waiting for them in the woods.
"I have a lot of anger ... " Kate said, " ... Because this is not where we were supposed to be."

Jon lied to his kids about having to work the weekend when asked if he could not go away so often by his daughter Hannah at the sextuplets birthday party. What kind of a dad buggers off for the weekend before the 6 kids have their 5th birthday party. Nice fathering Jon! I find it disgraceful that he is not only breaking his wife's heart with his tomcatting around but also that of his 8 little innocent children. Not a very good example of how a decent and principled man would behave. Shame on Jon Gosselin!

I not longer get the program as my husband took us back to basic cable. In the past I have watched and enjoyed Jon & Kate plus Eight. I loved when they renewed their wedding vows celebrating their tenth anniversary. They promised the children that they would never get divorced. Now is the time for them to get their lives straightened out and be a family agaim.

I watched last night's show and I think that it was one of the saddest shows that I have ever seen. Where is the love? The kids seemed subdued and sad, Kate brittle and harsh as ever and Jon just seems lost. When they decided to keep all 6 embryos, they did it because of their moral and religious convictions. Where is their devotion to each other, their church and their commitment to each other and their family. Kate kept talking about her "job" and Jon about quitting his job. This family needs serious counselling. Kate needs to wake up and realize that without her partner and their family.....no one will want to read her books, or pay to get her advice or opinions. Then who will provide the income for the big house and feeding and caring for their "8", No amount of money or stuff will EVER replace the advantages that having a mother and a father living together, loving each other, and their children. How very sad.....

I love the show and I feel bad for both of them. Sure they didn't realize what they were letting themselves in for when they signed on for this gig, but now might be the time for them to close the show down and work on their marriage without all of the distractions. 8 kids are enough distractions for anyone. I'm sure they've put away enough money for all the kids to go to college by now so there shouldn't be any need to continue the show.

As a parent of twins I know it is difficult and you need your time away. There is no going back for them. Suck it up and get over it. You have 8 kids and they need both of you there. They have alot of help now, go and get some time together. They are in a better place now then they were, 8 kids are expensive. I can't belive how well they do. They need to get back to what started them.

As a mother of multiples I feel terrible for Kate, I know how much stress you can get raising a lot of babies at the same time, you hardly get time for yourself and almost none for your spose, I think Kate should be more kind to Jon and let him say what he feels cause she's kind of bossy. She has to realize that he's not one of her children, that he is her husband and giving him some respet. Its so sad to see how Kate has change since the first season, she was more kind and nice with everybody. Now she turn into a very different person. I believe to much fame its bad for her. The show its about a couple raising multiple children, not about "Kate". Hope They get back in track and be nice couple they use to be not only for the kids, but for their marriage.

I watched this show religiously, impressed with the way 8 kids were handled. Kate says she is doing "HER" job; but, seems to me HER job is taking care of 8 kids. She repeatedly demoralized Jon; and, SHE is the one loving the attention and money. HE it appears just wants his family. And, his OWN job...and, in fact, I noticed the "BODYGUARD" in several of the pictures.

Right or wrong about doing the TLC show, both Jon and Kate made their decision together. Together as they should have because they are married. Jon says he "can't be just Jon" because he is known as "Jon and Kate, plus 8". How selfish can he be? If he wanted to keep his own identity, he should have stayed single! When you enter a covenant of marriage, you no longer are as one of two single people, you become ONE! And you leave the 'single' one behind. You not only lose your personal identity after marriage, but gain another title after kids are born into your union. You then become not your name but your child's name parent. (Kara's mom or Maddy's dad, etc...) God gave man this commandment, "Husbands love your wives, and be not bitter against them."- Colossians 3:19, and for wives his comandment was "Wives, submit unto your own husbands, at it is fit in the Lord", Colossians 3:18. They started this family and show with their faith in God. They need to go back to their beginnings and remember their talk with Him. The lives of 8 children depend on it. You can not stay together for the sake of your children, that is unfair to the kids. IF their were cheating involved, there has to be not only acknowledgement of that deed, but acknowledgement that the one they vowed to love and protect is now deeply hurt, and not by a stranger but by the one they also vowed to love and protect until death. They also have to forgive each other, and themselves, willingly to not throw it back in each other's face at any point down the road. I sincerely hope and pray that Jon and Kate (show or not) find it in their hearts to love and forgive one another as the Lord loves and forgives each of them.

I watched the show, and it seems that Kate really hasn't changed a whole lot. Jon was looking around at all the kids and friends, next thing you hear is Kate telling Jon to stop standing around and go do something. It wasn't just like I said it, but I'm sure you get the idea. Not that I want to be in her shoes, but yet when I got the low blow that my husband came home early one night I had friends over for dinner Jeff came in and said he wanted to talk, I said fine after my company leaves. He turned to me and said I don't love you, I never have, and I never will, and I want a divorce. At the time I think my oldest was around 3 or so, and my youngest was just about a year old. Come to find out he was seeing someone and had gotten her pregnant. Now, here is when I'm like Kate in a way. Here I have two little kids, my oldest was in pre-school. I had to get a job and I did. I worked at a daycare. I worked 12.5 hours 5 days a week. So, here I have all the little ones to watch, and then when work was over I took my two little ones home and had to take care of them. So, in a way I kinda know how she feels. The problem with them is that they are showing their kids the wrong thing. Kate is showing them that it is OK for the Mom to be verbably abusive, as well as physcially, when she feels like it she slaps Jon, yells at him, or she'll spank him. She talks to him the way you would talk to older kids. Now with the boys, they are both telling the kids that it is OK for the Dad to be a wuss, he takes the abuse by letting Kate slap him, spank him, and lets her talk to him the way she does. Thoes kids are going to be so messed up, I really feel badly for them.
