TV News Daily: 'The Unusuals,' 'Terminator' Cancelled; NBC Saves 'Chuck'

The UnusualsABC has pulled the plug on 'The Unusuals.' The midseason series has been canceled after just one season on the network, presumably due to a low performance in the ratings. Meanwhile, 'Castle,' 'Scrubs' and 'Better Off Ted' have each received season renewal orders, while the network passed on the Emmy-winning comedy 'Samantha Who?'.

In other cancellation news, Fox is bidding farewell to 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.' The news was made official today with the release of their fall 2009 and winter 2010 schedules, which includes brand new seasons of 'Bones,' 'Dollhouse' and others, as well as an in-season order of 'So You Think You Can Dance.'

On a brighter note, NBC has officially saved 'Chuck.' The series will return next year under a new 13-episode order -- but with considerable budget constraints. At least TV fans were able to win one battle this season.
