Joel over at TV Squad has an excellent recap of the episode, but we have a few random thoughts too:
• After a season of hiding (sometimes ironically) Alyson Hannigan's and Cobie Smulders' pregnancies, loved the psych out of Lily saying she was pregnant ... when she wasn't.
• Is Ted the new Ross Gellar -- a bit pompous, but also sweet and romantic? And now a professor?
• Barney and Robin's relationship needs to happen, even if it crashes and burns. That would be one hilarious crash and burn. Then again, we've always thought they were made for each other, as much as Marshall and Lily. A lil' Barney or junior Robin would be beyond. Be ... wait for it ... yond.
• The goat fight was funny, but downplayed. Thinking that was on purpose, what about you?
• If we were never to meet the mother, or didn't meet her until the series finale ... we'd be A-OK with that.
