'Lost' Season Finale: Jacob, the Statue and Season 6 Questions

The 'Lost' fifth season finale was called 'The Incident' (read a detailed review at TV Squad) but there are so many mind-blowing events that could refer to, including:

• The detonation of Jughead the bomb
• The brutal smackdown between Jack and Sawyer (who, let's be honest, have wanted to smack each other around forever)
• Juliet's heartbreaking tumble into the Swan
• The shocking revelation of who John Locke is (and isn't)
• The pan up on what the rest of the four-toed statue looks like
• What lies in the shadow of the statue? "Ille qui nos omnes servabit" = 'He who will save us'
• Ben's simmering rage at and stabbing of Jacob
• Or, of course, that we finally met Jacob and witnessed how he had played a role in each of the 'Lost'-ies trips to the island, only to see him then snuffed out and burned up by Locke and Ben

So many revelations, and, as usual with 'Lost,' so many new questions for the sixth and final season:

• Who survived the bomb?
• Did blowing up the Swan wipe out the plane crash and send everyone back to their pre-island lives?
• Is Jacob really dead?
• Is Juliet really dead?
• Is Locke evil, while Jacob is/was the representative of goodness?
• Is four-toed statue really Sobek, a crocodile god who people looked to for protection?
• What's in Hurley's guitar case, which we now know was given to him by Jacob?
• How do Claire, Christian Shepherd, baby Aaron and Charles Widmore factor into what we now know about Locke and Jacob?
• Whose eyeball did we get the super close-up shot of in the 'Lost 2010' mini-preview?

Watch a clip from the finale

And those are all questions that will all have to unfold in just one more season, which doesn't begin until 2010.

So, after last night's finale, do you think:

• You know where the storyline is headed?
• The revelations about Jacob and Locke completely blew your theories out of the water?
• You need to go back and watch the whole show again from the beginning, and get yourself a copy of 'Everything That Rises Must Converge' by Flannery O'Connor?
