The New York Daily News reports that Sutherland will turn himself in to the NYPD today, where he'll be issued a desk ticket and allowed to go on his way without immediate jail time or any restrictions on his freedom to travel.

But there could be a glitch or two down the road, as Sutherland is currently on probation for a 2007 DUI conviction that led to him serving 48 days in jail in Los Angeles. An L.A. city attorney tells People.com that Sutherland's NYC incident could lead to more jail time in L.A. if he's found to be in violation of his five-year parole sentence and if he was intoxicated at the time.
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter wonders whether the actor's latest dust-up (he was on parole for a 2004 DUI arrest during his 2007 conviction) could lead to a delay for '24.' The show, which wraps season seven on May 18, is set to begin production on season eight at the end of May, meaning more jail time for Sutherland could force writers to explain some down time for Jack Bauer.

Chyna becomes upset after being turned away from Villa Lounge. Just look at her! It's easy to see why! The ones with the finger are just showing how imature they are. Smoking? Kiefer Sutherland should be required to do a VERY public apology. Such as at the beginning of the season on the first show. The guy that he head butted should be there. Then Keifer should apologize and state what an imature moron he was for doing such a thing. Then perform 100hrs of community service of which the type of service will be determined by the person he head butted. He should also be required to spend 4 weekends in jail. This is all from the head butt. If he was drinking when the head butt occurred? Multiply the punishment by 5 and fine him $30,000.00. He needs to mature and become responsible.
