Donald Faison Dishes on the Future of 'Scrubs'

ABC gave 'Scrubs' fans a pleasant surprise earlier this week when the network confirmed that it is in negotiations to bring back the medical with some (or all) of its original cast -- including platonic soul mates J.D. (Zach Braff) and Turk (Donald Faison) -- for a ninth season.

Faison, or Mocha Bear as we like to call him, took time out from a mani-pedi with his girlfriend ("It's good bonding time," he claims) to reveal whether he and other long-standing cast members would return for a Season 9.

"I don't think anyone is going to say no," he says confidently. Meaning that even if his new ABC comedy pilot 'Law' gets picked up, he'd moonlight in a recurring capacity on 'Scrubs.' Ditto that for John C. McGinley and Neil Flynn, who also have pilots on tap.

Depending on how things shake out, next fall could be packed -- or bare -- for Faison. "Will I be on 'Scrubs'? Will I be on 'The Law'? Or both? I don't know. Or it could be nothing."
