What to Watch Wednesday, April 29

Lost'Lost'
(9PM, ABC)
It's the 100th episode of the series, and one of the final four of the season, so it's only fitting that 'The Variable' delivers some major scoop.

This one's Faraday-centric, as the shaggy physicist begins to unveil all that he knows about the island. At the end of 'Some Like It Hoth,' Faraday showed up on the island as a scientist working for the Dharma Initiative. That factors into tonight's revelations, which also includes Mrs. Hawking and the truth about her connection to Charles Widmore.

And all this is leading up to the fifth season finale – the penultimate 'Lost' season finale ever – in which, rumor has it, another major Gilligan bites the dust.

'Better Off Ted'
(8:30PM, ABC) 1st season finale
Survey says: Veridian employees think Veronica is kinda scary. So she decides to make herself more likable, and, of course, it doesn't go quite as she planned.

'The Exterminators'
(10:30PM, A&E) 1st season finale
Well, uh, at least the season ends eventfully for Billy: First, he has to find a rabid skunk at a horse farm, and then he gets bitten by a sneaky snake while he's on a job to exterminate some meeses.

'CSI: NY'
(10PM, CBS)
Ohhhh, Mr. Grant! Mary Tyler Moore's boss, Ed Asner, guest stars as a clockmaker with a secret past, which comes out when a jewelry appraiser is killed during a major auction.

'Extreme Restaurants'
(8PM, Travel Channel)
Can you think of any good reason a restaurant would want you to dine in the dark? Us neither.

'Reno 911!'
(10:30PM, Comedy Central)
In the conclusion of last week's ep, Dangle gets a buzzkill when an actual murder happens at his murder mystery party. Not only because his soiree is ruined, but because now he has to go to work.

Also on tonight:
- 'America's Next Top Model' (8PM, CW)
- 'Obama: The First 100 Days' (10PM, BET)

What's on tomorrow: '30 Rock,' 'Smallville' and more
