What to Watch Thursday, April 23

The Beast'The Beast'
(10PM, A&E) 1st season finale
The future of 'The Beast' remains up in the air, largely because of star Patrick Swayze's ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer.

But in the season ender, viewers will get a few answers to questions surrounding his FBI agent Charles Barker.
Most of the action revolves around Barker's pursuit of the Red Gauntlet operation, a case that has dogged him throughout his career.

He receives some very pertinent info in the form of a list with the names of six people involved with Red Gauntlet, and with Ellis, Todd and Conrad's help, he tries to track them down. It's imperative that he does, lest they find him first.

'30 Rock'
(9:30PM, NBC)
It may not bode well for Jack's future with Elisa (Salma Hayek) when he decides to take Liz along while he shops for an engagement ring, then seeks out advice on marriage ... from Tracy.

'Southland'
(10PM, NBC)
Last week Ben teased the reason he became a cop, and tonight he unfolds the whole harrowing saga. Meanwhile, Dewey is acting more like a fan than a cop while dealing with a trouble-plagued actor (the appropriately cast Tom Sizemore).

'Supernatural'
(9PM, The CW)
Sam and Dean agree to meet up with a guy claiming to be their brother, but who they suspect is really a big old bad demon.

'Hell's Kitchen'
(9PM, Fox)
Good one, Gordo: Chef Ramsay cooks a meal for the remaining contestants, then challenges them to replicate it.

Also on tonight:
- 'Survivor: Tocantins' (8PM, CBS)
- 'The Millionaire Matchmaker' (10PM, Bravo)

What's on tomorrow: 'Ghost Whisperer,' 'Head Case' and more
