'Law & Order: SVU' may be in search of two new stars.NBC is threatening to replace Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni on its No. 1 scripted series because the two leads are demanding back-end profits in addition to their $350K-per-episode salaries. Are the stars or the network the victims here? Debate.
In other news, 'Fringe' is beaming up 'Star Trek' vet Leonard Nimoy for a pivotal arc that will span this season and next, and the final episodes of 'Pushing Daisies' and some other canceled ABC faves will (finally!) hit the boob tube.

If Mariska and Christopher leave Law and Order SVU, you can bet that many people will not tune in. They are show and deserve what they are asking.

I will not watch if they are gone. They make the show. Maybe they will get picked up on another network as detectives on another show.

When is enough -- enough? They are making more in 1 week than many people make in 3 to 5 years. This is just greed. Just like professional athletes who make tens of millions per year--a brain surgeon w/ all the years of schooling and the ability to save lives may make 1-2-3 million a year maybe. Where does it end? These exuberant salarys-bonus's and extras--you end up paying for in one way or another. Think about it--when do you say NO!!!!

SVU = Chris and Mariska. And they are worth every penny. Any profession if you do a good job you get a raise. I love the way we know what they are making but no one else involved in the show like DW himself. huh?

Hargitay and Meloni are the show. And if NBC fires them, i will not watch it and i know alot of other people who will not watch it as well. $350,000 for a successful series for the mail stars is not alot and the are worth it after 10 years. Geez... NBC is making tons and tons of Millions of Dollars from advertisers, and the least they can do is pay the people who make the show what it is. i also like the who cast, but miss casey novak and stefanie march. thanks...
