What to Watch Wednesday, April 8

The Unusuals'The Unusuals'
(10PM, ABC) series premiere
The title pithily sums up the quirky, secrets-keeping detectives of the NYPD's Homicide unit, where Det. Casey Shraeger (Amber Tamblyn) is transferred to after working undercover as a hooker in Vice.

She's paired with Det. Walsh (Jeremy Renner), who's obsessed with tracking down the murderer of his former partner. The rest of the motley crew includes Delahoy (Adam Goldberg), who wants to get killed on the job and his partner, Banks (Harold Perrineau), who's so afraid of dying on the job that he won't remove his bulletproof vest.

Then there's super religious Cole (Josh Close), who's trying to keep his shady past a secret from his partner and his boss.

'MythBusters'
(9PM, Discovery) 7th season premiere
The 'Busters bunch tests one of the bus stunts from the movie 'Speed.' The original, not the inferior Jason Patric sequel, which took place on a cruise ship.

'The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel 2'
(10PM, MTV) 17th season premiere
CT, Dunbar, Aneesa, Ruthie, Brooke, Paula and Robin – all names that are familiar to 'RW/RR' fans – head off to New Zealand for the latest 'Challenge,' which promises to be packed with boozy, expletive-laced escapades thanks to this hot-headed line-up.

'High School Reunion'
(10PM, TV Land) 2nd season finale
Will divorced Class of '88 sweethearts Kara and Tom reunite? The episode is called 'Love Will Lead You Back.'

'Life'

Crews discovers that Reese's disappearance is related to the conspiracy that led to Crews' jail stint.

'Lost'
(9PM, ABC)
Kiddie Ben is alive and well and an adult back on the island – via a method we still don't totally understand – and now he's determined to conjure up his own karma by awakening the smoke monster!

'Scrubs'
(8PM, ABC)
Janitor and his lady, uh, Lady, plan a fake destination wedding in the Bahamas, just to scam their pals into giving them gifts. The glitch: All their invitees make plans to travel to the nuptials. Hmmm, a marriage license ... sounds like the perfect opportunity to finally reveal Janitor's real name.

'The Exterminators'
(10:30PM, A&E)
Billy's got a sneaky snake on his hands when a poisonous reptile slithers into a tattoo parlor. And when you're allowing someone to poke you with a tiny needle over and over and over again, well, that's just not a good time to have that person get a pop-in visit from a snake.

Also on tonight:
- 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' (8PM, CBS)
- 'Ghost Hunters' (9PM, SCIFI)

What's on tomorrow: 'Parks & Recreation,' 'Southland' premieres' and more
