Whoopi Goldberg is about to pull double duty on television.

'The View' co-host has landed a multi-episode gig on A&E's 'The Cleaner.' She'll play Banks' (Benjamin Bratt) former sponsor in a role set to debut in time for this summer's second season premiere.

In other TV news, NBC is taking 'Chopping Block' off the airwaves effective next week. The reality competition series, which experienced a steady drop in the ratings, has been pulled after just three weeks on the network.
