TV News Daily: Krause, Tierney Up for 'Parenthood' Roles

Peter Krause and Maura TierneyPeter Krause and Maura Tierney are eyeing a big return to television.

The TV vets are reportedly in negotiations to star in NBC's 'Parenthood' remake, where they would play roles originated by Steve Martin and Dianne Wiest on the big screen. Also in talks to join the show: Craig T. Nelson and Dax Shepard.

Elsewhere in TV news, 'Hairspray' star Amanda Bynes is getting her own series. Bynes will star in the ABC comedy 'Canned,' said to be about a group of friends who all get the boot on the same day.
